| If by "huge disparity between all of the shows they have produced" you mean they range from "considerably above the average anime" to "some of the best looking TV show in the history of anime", yeah, they're inconsistent on that scale. Besides, if the actual show looks even close to this PV, it'll still look better than every anime airing this current season. |

I think that would be the way to go if it's an art direction focused show but it's about monster fights and I don't think we need strong drawings in those, we need fluid and movement heavy action so naturally they redo the character designs to fit the medium |

| The music choice, and the blowing nose scene makes me think this will be what I wanted out of Chainsaw Man when I first saw it's trailers, and heard what people were saying about it: that it was absurd, but not depressing in it's brutality. Not to say I didn't like Chainsaw Man, because I did, but it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, rather it was depressing, and thrilling, and even the later jokes didn't seem to lighten the mood, instead they maintained it. Hopefully, this'll fill that void, because I like absurdity when it's lighthearted more than when it's depressing. |
