Faputa is irumyui’s daughter and she is Reg’s friend before he lost his memory

SPOILERS up to ep10!!
SPOILERS up to ep10!!
SPOILERS up to ep10!!

A long time ago, ganja squad descendet into the 6th layer hoping to find paradise. There, Vueko and Irumyuui bonded to the point where irumyuui saw Vueko as her own mother. A terrible disease befell ganja that melted their flesh and was slowly, painfully killing them. As a last resort, Vueko gave Irumyuui a magical artifact called “cradle of desire” hoping it would save Irumyuui. It saves Irumyuui and grants her her deepest desire, although in a twisted way. Wazukyan uses Irumyuui’s suffering to their advantage and harvests her children as medicine against the disease. Belaf refuses to eat Irumyuuis children at first, but gives in in the end to save himself, which he later regrets. Wazukyan then tricks Vueko and Irumyuui and gives Irumyuui a second cradle of desire, turning her into the village Iruburu so ganja can live peacefully in the Abyss. Vueko cannot handle what happened to Irumyuui and tries to kill herself. Wazukyan knows that that would be the end of them, because the only reason why Irumyuui is still willing to live is so she can be with Vueko, so he imprisons Vueko in the village. Irumyuui then uses all the cradles of desire to give birth to her last child, Faputa, who is the embodiment of Irumyuui’s hatred towards ganja. When Riko arrives, she starts bonding with the villagers, and we get to see that Faputa’s blind hatred of the villagers is not completely justified, that there are good people in Iruburu who did not hurt Irumyuui. Reg met Faputa in the past and i think they fell in love with each other, but Reg needed to go to the surface for Riko and lost all memory of his time with Faputa. That angers Faputa, since she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Reg, and blames Riko for “stealing” Reg from her. I think that is all. I hope this isn’t too long or that i didn’t say too much and spoiled something for you.

Can't lie the manga's even more confusing in this arc, so it's not your fault for not following. This season's writing quality is miles below the previous.

Attack?

what?

if you think that was an attack or an insult you are WAY too soft.

Thinking a neutral take on someone's taste is a personal attack — just MAL user things.

totally get that.
did take me lot's of brain to keep up as well!
but I like the way they went about it.
They have a LOT of plot to transfer in these short 12 episodes!
This arc has many new details about the way of the abyss and also how it drives people down there since the dawn of time.

And also great job on the summary here! Pretty much everything is said!

I can understand subjective opinions on whether the show is good or not, but a lot of the issues people have with it just boil down to basic comprehension...

Forgot to say: "spoilers"

Ngl the worldbuilding in this is rather complicated, like in this season, what was going on with uruyumi?
Is faputa uruyumi? or a child born by that egg, (that i don t quite did not understand what it was aside from ths fact that it could make wishes come true) that shares the same hatred?
Its a lot of mysteries to digest indeed, but i don't think the writing is that confusing or incrompressible and i am a person who loses attention pretty quickly. Since this is more about some critics i saw here than the OP, please guys think before you talk..

post was from about a month ago... but I think MiA can be harder to understand than a majority of anime so hope this helps.

SPOILERS EPISODE 12 END OF SEASON

What was going with Irumyuui?

Irumyuui was used to save the Ganja squad from the parasitic water and became the village Iiblu. The egg grants your deepest or true desires (gold/treasure) for Irumyuui this was to have children and to be with Vueko.

Basically, she was affected by the parasitic water that was taking her life and humanity. It was shown when Belaf went back to the cave, the source of the water, that the water infects and turns its host into stone creating a home for itself.

The egg also becoming a part of her, Irumyuui granted Belafs wish to be punished and devoured which explain why when people enter Iiblu they lose their bodies and become narahate and “soul” like beings that add to the “value/accumulation” of the village and why Iiblu has so much power relating to “Value”.

Is faputa uruyumi? or a child born by that egg?

Faputa was born from the eggs. Irumyuui always wanted to have children but because of her memories, misinterpretations, and losing her humanity she couldn’t fulfill this wish. This was until her longing overcame her instinct and she manage to separate them or use her human side apart from her instincts (apart from the parts of her that have become the water and the egg) which is why Faputa had to born outside the village. This is also a good example of what Wazukyan meant by becoming beyond human (growing by fighting against instinct).

shares the same hatred?

As a part of that separation Irumyuui’s memories were inherited by Faputa and because she was just born the pain/emotions she felt manifested feelings of revenge. This was referred to as a “Dream” for Faputa, her life was shaped by Iryumyuui’s past predetermining her actions. A curse that that was inherited by her mother’s love (how her longing overcame everything above) and after resolving those emotions she was freed from the “yoke called value/Irumyuui’s memories/accumulation” and is now able to live a life truly of her own choosing.

It's not confusing,
Ganja group, Shitty and Faputa are just there to stretch the story.

The bonds between Riko's group and those unimportant groups are just acquaintance, nothing important.
