It's you own list so you have to decide. Just mark it as completed when you are done I don't see the problem. People here skip fillers all the time and still mark it as completed.

start from the beginning, it'll be like watching the anime but twice so double the fun.

Fill out the entry and make a note in the comments section of the relevant entry to remind yourself where you started.

Just don't care and fill the entry, because anyone who looks at your stats also don't care either, you're welcome.

I'd personally recommend starting from the beginning, but it's up to you, you can also always re-read a series anytime, so if it bothers you that much, that's an option you have.

If you have read 60/70% or more of the manga after completing it's anime, mark it as completed. But if you read only a few of the unadapted chapters after the anime, then don't fill it in.

Fill the entry, nothing's more misleading than option 1: not fill at all.

Personally I would start reading from the beginning, but it's your list, do whatever you want.

well its up to u tbh if the anime was true to the manga and never missed out on anything then its okay to start where it left off but if that's, not the case then starting from the beginning i would rec but it's not like anyone is just gonna come up to u and say "hey so what did u think about (characters name) speech on chapter 69 of (manga name)" if you've watched the anime and it covered that scene then u could answer or whatever but no one really cares tbh its basically up to u, I personally always research about the manga of the anime I just watched and hear people's comments on if it stayed true to the manga and if it did i just push on with the knowledge I already have from the anime

PS: I did that with aot

I'm going to read Black Clover i searched and they say it's quite well adapted and true to manga ? So i guess I'll just start reading after the anime.

In general I don't really recommend skipping chapters just because you've seen the adaptation.
You all need to watch Nami.

I think it’s alright to say u finished the entry after you read ahead becuase the main content from manga will be usually similar to anime. Unless they are differnt, read from start and then say you completed it. But it’s ur list, do what u want.

If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

Watch more movies, please.

Perhaps, this is hell.

If it's a completed manga then just put in the chapter number you're on so you know how far you are and just edit it down to the amount you actually read once you finish it (MAL let's you set manga/anime as completed even if you haven't consumed all of it). I personally just read everything from the beginning, though, since there's usually differences between them anyway, sometimes even substantial differences that would make the manga confusing to read if you just pick up at the chapter after the last one the anime adapted.

I would say just start from the beginning if you really care about it.
