Is this show slow and repetitive
I haven't after 3 episodes but does it get any better
(Plz don't tell me to watch for it myself I've heard that many times)

Yup it does, you will get something in episode 5 and then some new characters too and in episode 12 you will get another kick too....

I know you said you didn’t want to hear it, but just watch it. 3 episodes in you’re barely into the story at all. I don’t think it’s boring and repetitive but it’s quite slow paced so if you don’t like things with quiet moments and not constantly action then you won’t like it. I personally think episode 1 is by far the best but most people say it keeps getting better and better and episodes 7-12 are the best, so just watch and judge for yourself.

I don't feel that it is repetitive, yeah it is a bit slow pace but that's not the problem and honestly after episode 16 I can't wait for the next episode, this anime start from zero but now it is on next level specially after episode 16.

Ehh, not really. Even kinda variative for me. I really like the journey of Fushi so far, it has all elements that fit my taste.

It's at least worth the watch until Gugu arc. I haven't watched past that arc because I don't have time. The world building is amazing at the least even though the story may get a little repititive.

it is pretty repetitive, but it’s still very good. the characters change things up and add depth. i watch it more for the characters than the plot. fushi had had very good development. i think it’s worth it, but it’s up to you whether to continue it or not

When you ask "does it get any better", that implies that you aren't liking it. So drop it. I think the quality has stayed tbe same, what i feel is high quality since the first 3 episodes.

It’s totally repetitive for at least the first dozen episodes I think. I’m holding my judgement for what’s going on right now, but it seems to be the same. It’s still enjoyable though, and it’ll probably build into something really special as well, so I think it’s worth the watch.

I’m my opinion this is one of those anime’s that just get bet the r and better after each episode, but yeah that’s just personal preference

No it does not get better, in fact the first episode is by far the best one in every aspect and stopping here is pretty fine if you ask me.

I dropped it in Gugu Arc maybe will continue after show ends.

First Episode is masterpiece level (even i predicted everything) and everything after that is downhill.

In the most abstract sense it is repetitive because it use the hero journey archetype in order to provide a framework to establish the grow of the main character while also constantly using the same method of establishing relationships and provide backgrounds to the characters because the MC is kind of inert. That being said, the characters are diverse enough and offer new points of view that molds the story so the whole thing is not extremely repetitive but more of predictable because the also over the top foreshadowing. The final intent is to develop the side characters so to enjoy it more you should care more about them and not the whole story

Without spoiling too much I think it's the good kind of repetitive. Similar events do play out but they still affect and develop the main character in different ways. In my eyes that's not repetition instead it's still contributing to the narrative.

i'm 8 episodes in and it seems a little repetitive, depending on your perspective. but moreso, it's kind of boring

this is the third arc of the show. each of the first two arcs involved fushi and his companion(s) (to borrow Doctor Who parlance) and ended with a sad separation from said companion. the third arc introduces yet another companion. fushi is supposed to learn from them and grow more human with each encounter

in that sense, it's definitely repetitive. but each arc involves different side characters, settings, experiences. so in that regard, it's not repetitive
