I don't know if it was done before but for the fun of it I put the title and some SnK words in pythagorean numerology, it works very simple: every letter corresponds to a number, you add them and see the result.

when you put "Attack on Titan" you get this result:
ATTACKONTITAN = 1+2+2+1+3+6+5+2+9+2+1+5 = 39 (or three 9s)
if you add 3+9 you get 12 and 1+2 is 3 but this number doesn't mean squat, it's the 39 which is important.

SnK started serialization in 09.09.2009 (see the three 9s) (https://myanimelist.net/manga/23390/Shingeki_no_Kyojin?q=shingeki%20no%20ky&cat=manga)

So Shingeki no Kyojin translated in english (Attack on Titan) gives us the three 9s from the serialization, I think it's a weird coincidence.

Shingeki no Kyojin equals 89 in numerology (doesn't ring a bell, so it doesn't look that important), though:
EREN = 5+9+5+5 = 24 = 2+4 = 6 (it's not a numerology thing but if you flip this number you get 9, the very important number)
ERENYEAGER = 5+9+5+5+7+5+17+5+9 = 58 = 5+8 = 13 (we all know how important is this number in SnK)

You may say it's stupid but numerology was always used for symbolism, it may be the case here too, considering how crazy the manga/anime is.
What do you think?

edit: I missed a 2 for the K
correct is ATTACKONTITAN = 1+2+2+1+3+2+6+5+2+9+2+1+5 = 41 which means nothing in regards to SnK, even if you add them, you get 5 which is also nothing

sorry, my bad

Yeah, actually and if you put all the words in SNK together you'll get 13905359 which is the amount of ass hair Isayama has, I dunno if you're parodying the AOT fanbase or being for real, But I don't think it's some kind of foreshadowing or symbolism, No offence.

There's also the thing which are the NINE titans (non-critical spoiler). And the fact that Attack on Titan likes to release their OVA's by the 9th day of the month:

Attack on Titan OVA - December 09
No Regrets OVA - December 09
Lost Girls OVA - December 08

(yeah the last one was released on the 8th but my point stands)

yes, true, that was my interpretation but if it were a 5 I wouldn't take it into consideration, out of all the numbers it was 6 which resembles a 9 when flipped. But I agree, it's a hole and a big stretch

Isayama also studied in his elementary school that there are "9" planets. Mind blown.
(I know there are 8, don't @ me for this.)

If this was any other author, I'd think you're completely nuts. But if it's Isayama, a part of me actually kinda believes you.

oh shit, I missed a 2 from K, you're right, sorry, it wasn't on purpose

about half hour, I just played with some words putting them through the numerology calculation, I should've triple checked though. You just have to press the "edit" button from the right side to change the title.
I will lay low for two days or so for I am very ashamed of my mistake

"I think I wanted to attack something. Like betraying people or hurting people. And, well, it's not exactly nice, but hurting the readers too... In all honestly, I feel that's what I really wanted to do. For me, as a reader, when I think, "this manga will remain in my heart," it means, for example, it phenomenally hurt me: It's those kinds of experiences I'm after." - Pajime Hisayama (My favourite hurting author).
