The best way to watch (and get depressive) Evangelion entries

So I was just rewatching some Evangelion stuff (mostly Asuka scenes) and it came to mind that the whole Eva is absurdly convoluted and there are too many iterations of the same shit. Then, I thought to myself that Anno Hideaki is a sadist who likes to make us fans squirm, he made those last episodes looking like garbage intentionally so there would be interest for the movie, but why did he make Death and Rebirth? why the director's cut when he added that stupid thing about SEELE telling Kaworu about Adam, just to act surprised when he encountered Lilith?
After much thinking I made an idiotic watch order to the series and some manga entries.
Please, tell your thoughts about this ridiculous ordering

Pretty sure he didn't intend for you to watch everything one after the other like that. The intended watch order is Eva TV in its entirety then End of Eva.

Everything else is either reimaginings or the equivalent to filler

Weird. I have pretty much all the Eva-related entries on my list and yet i never got the notification that the Rei lipstick promo was added to the DB. Anyway, thanks for making me aware of it; 'twas pretty nice, actually.

I put the Sadamoto manga after all entries cause it feels like the most proper end of events.
And I put parody entries just after ep 25.

I put EOE in the trash where it belongs.

And the last two episodes are some of the best. And they feel very healing. Anno has issues with people liking stuff that is him. :)

Next stop OP, play the visual novels and read saigado's doujins otherwise you ain't a real fan.
I have done both. Genius creator of Pico is who Saigado is. And I think I like how fitting with the themes M-bation is.

But for games, Hmmm well I played Girlfriend of Steal first so Girlfriend of steal 2. Ans I loved all the Kawoshin funtimes. First meeting and Kaworu got roses around his head.

The ending for that route is kinda garbage. Rei has a fun route

Looks like it could a fun thing to try, also I've always been apprehensive about reading the manga and have heard a lot of mixed things on it, does it really add anything to the anime?

the manga is very good, it expands a little bit on the characters, we spend a longer time with kaworu and we get to know him a bit more. The famous unconscious Asuka scene is expanded too. The artstyle is very good and consistent and it's a very easy read, not too much dialogue. There is even another scene after the beach scene from End of Eva and a bonus chapter about Yui.
I say it's a nice read if you're a fan

Thanks now that you mention there is indeed quite a few things it can expand on, I'll be sure to get to it.
