| Well, Art should never be censored. Everyone should be able to express whatever they want to say through their art. Sure some art can be "repulsive" and "offensive". But as long as it's not harming anyone, it's should be okay. Lolicon art is the type of art that is repulsive to me, I feel disgusted whenever I look at it, but since it's not harming me or anyone else in any way I don't think it should be banned. But there's also a whole other side of this coin, there are artists who create such "art" just to fulfill their fantasies. Many artists even take real-life references. We have also seen artists creating loli stuff on real-life kids. Take Shadman for example. And it's not just him, there have been others. Bringing actual kids into this and making drawings or whatever just for the sake of "art" is a sick thing to do. We don't know what goes through these people's minds whenever they are drawing stuff like this. It's a huge debate, and both sides have valid points. For some, it's just art and for others, it's the type of art that feeds potential pedophiles and none of them are wrong. It's not a black and white thing, sadly there are layers to it. And what's even sadder is the fact that people are talking about what someone should draw and shouldn't like it's the biggest problem we are facing in the world. If Loli art is banned tomorrow, no one would care. If it doesn't get banned, like ever, then still, no one would care. :P |

| Depends on what is lolicon. I like loli characters in anime, for the MOE but not the PEDO. Fan service comedy involving Loli is mostly OK, but as soon as that crosses the line from MOE and COMEDY to ECCHIE and PORN then I think that should be illegal. Unfortunately our cencorious overlords seem to want to go heavy on the ban-hammer without even understanding what's at play. |

| Maybe. The reason for that is because in many cases what you consume will definitely effect your thought process, there's no doubt about that. What you expose yourself to is part of what makes up your views. I don't know how you can disagree with that OP. Now, if as a result of watching lolicon you begin to think that it's okay (of which there is a huge likelihood) unconsciously or consciously. Then there is also a huge chance you will start acting on it because you live in this world with other humans. (not necessarily rape, could be forcing your views on others, effecting others, sexual harassment, ect.) When it comes to banning it, I think it should probably be banned so that can reduce the amount of exposure people get from it. It's toxic. Being attracted to girls who haven't even reached puberty just ain't it. This could effect girls in real life in a roundabout way & ruin their childhood. |

| I already said all I need to say but since it's been brought up multiple times I will say a little more. It's been claimed that it would alter people's perceptions and increase or predict real life offenses. The evidence suggests otherwise.
