Beatrice noooo... don't cry :( What an episode. Damn, we had a lot action and revelations packed in 26 mins. First is Beatrice's true situation, and how, for 400 years, she had waited for someone to free her from her contract and grant her wish. We also saw a 'broken' Emilia. That end credit scene was so fcking horrific. Subaru got his first kiss with Emilia, but at what cost. The amount of suffering he continues to go on is just insane. And the rabbits strikes again. Fcking rabbits. Btw, still curious though on how Elsa survived Beatrice's attack on that fight scene. Overall a very solid episode, can't wait for the next one! |

| Re:Zero needs a horror tag lol. It outclassed some shows’ horror with random jump scares or creepy reveals just by being itself. Phenomenal episode, and godly end. Can’t wait to see how our man makes his way through the next loop. |

| How do you even start after watching this episode... I lost count at the number of times that Subaru died in these past episodes. Another 20/10 episode! The more episodes i see the more i respect Subaru, this episode was just insane.. Beaco's scene was pretty though, but it can only be Subaru who can save her. Now they are attacking the village too, fml, Beaco died, Emilia went crazy and got possessed by the witch, Rooswall also went crazy. What an insane episode. That ending tho, those rabbits again... ReZero is the only anime where i shouldn't say "can't wait for the next episode". I do wonder how Subaru will solve all of this at the same time... |

I have to read the rest of LN until this point yet to figure it better, but i'm sure this situation was not so specific, but more generalized: - In this season Subaru realized, after finally share with someone his Return by Death burden, that it is his only power and he should abuse of this in other to save everybody. - Then from that moment until now we had already the record of "resets" to one same savepoint. (a record of failures and deaths). - And in this episode, Roswaal literally slaps Subaru's face with the truth that the more Subaru use it, the more he is becoming insensitive to the others who are abandoned in the failed timeline. Until a point that even Subaru could agree with kill his own friends to learn something that may be useful in the next try for a "perfect" timeline. That is the immoral pragmatism of Ros saying "left everything behind". In other words: Subaru ALWAYS will try to save everybody. But for that, he is accepting the multiple deaths of everybody until win that objective. |

| Mozgow, I appreciate your posts. They leave just the right amount of mystery when answering a question. The first two screenshots refer to that. The other two to her suffering that was revealed in this episode.One thing is not right. It seems like Ros book is more "updated" than Beako's version. If Beatrice's book tells nothing new in years, so that time she could not know anything about Subaru's curse. Unless Roswaal is telling her. Can we assume that the maniac Ros is so confident to the Spirit in the Library? BUT he has a vow forcing he to dont reveal shit. Seems like a Plot hole. PS: Does anybody know if Beatrice is actually going to be alive next round? Its been loosely implied in some episodes that shes isn't affected by the reset. |

| I just shut the sound off on this episode. Too much Subaru yelling...in fact too much of most characters yelling. This had to be the worst episode yet for me. It's just a touch of plot movement and more of everyone dying and him looping around. Movie low point and in this case for me....a silent movie low point. |

Re: Zero Logic about Roswaal Scene Some people in AniTwitter confused about Roswaal vs Subaru confrontation after Ram and Garfiel being killed because of Subaru's lack of expressing shock However, in my defense, it makes sense that he suffers Depersonalization to the point that Beatrice's death affected his mental breakdown with his left eye being pierced by Elsa's kukri. Depersonalization causes numbness, and his numbness had been caused by Beatrice's death — specifically speaking — which is a good example of "Having a loved one die unexpectedly" factor of Depersonalization. (Source about it) Hence, Subaru's expression during Roswaal's abrupt scene of confrontation was consistent based on the disorder he had after the scene with Beatrice vs. Elsa and Meili. The episode was consistently creepy and chilly. It isn't a cheap thrill when most contextual details are based on his own behavioral perspective after he had with Beatrice and Roswaal. |

| I teared up a bit seeing Beatty so emotional and slain by Elsa. Although, I also like Elsa as a villain, it was still very sad to see. Beatrice is best girl after all. My other best girl, Ram was murdered by Roswaal and that surprised me. I read some spoilers about Roswaal and who he really is so I shouldn't be too surprised but it still made me sad. Especially with Garfiel seeing Ram like that and him holding her corpse close. I didn't feel anything when Roswaal got devoured by the monster bunnies but damn, Subaru went through that twice but still had enough willpower to drag his mauled body to where Emilia was to die in her arms even though she wasn't herself. |

| Wow, a lot of info to process here. I can't tell whether there's just a bunch of mysteries that will be solved later or if they're just a bunch of plot holes, but screw it, I'm loving this season anyways. Such an intense episode! Yandere Emilia was so unnerving though lol. It was fantastic. |
