DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Big props to dad-kun (the og dad, not Nat's dad), handled that news about Rui's pregnancy well. Even Nat. himself handled it well, damn that moment felt really wholesome But damn that mom coming in with that last-minute potential drama lol. Telling Hina it's ok to be with Nat if she still loves him. Wonder what will happen when Rui announces her pregnancy to her :P |

| It's great that father and Daniela were so supportive of Rui. And I was very pleased with Natsuo's reaction. But I'm concerned about what Sasuga has come up with for Hina? |
| Rui's dad is the MVP in this chapter and maybe even the entire series. What an awesome guy! My heart freaking melted when Natsuo was pleased with the news. Such a great chapter. Hina has to have some kind of closure. Even if she just ends up spilling every thing out and Natsuo just thanking her for loving him. The girl needs closure. |

| I am glad that so far no one has told them to not have the baby. I doubt that will last long though. I can see Hina and her mom not taking the news very well once they find out though. |

| I feel Happy for Hina and Natsuo. Daniela and her dad was so happy to hear the news. Can't wait to see her reunite with Natsuo again, they'll have so much stuff to do now. Also that last page, please dun give me more hope. I've seen Hina suffer enough already. I dun want to see my girl cry anymore, it's too frustrating to see Hina like this. |

| There's 3 course of action where this ship is gonna sail. 1. Natsuo marrying Rui, and have a baby 2. Rui has miscariage and Natsuo ended up marrying Hina. OR (and this is a curve ball out of the batter zone into a foul ball strike!) .... 3. Natsuo married them both either at the same time or one after the other |

| Okay, it's a wonderful conflict. Mother is supporting of Hina and Natsuo. I thought when Rui did not say at first that she was pregnant, this might make a difference if she'll win or lose. Good thing she did later in the chapter, and her dad is supporting too. Well then, let the sibling rivalry wage war in the final battle. |

| What's bothering me about Domestic Girlfriend's flavor of drama is that everyone is so supporting and so happy for Rui. There's no nastiness, no bitterness. In fact, for Rui, there's hardly any drama/conflict to begin with; her dad supports her, her roommate supports her... I'm sure Hina will support her when she hears the news about the pregnancy, too. And then, of course, Natsuo supports her. He's ecstatic that he accidentally impregnated Rui and is now due to be a father despite having no stable income; how convenient for Rui, huh? Indeed, the "drama" of this story right now solely comes from Hina's suffering; the fact that Hina just has to grin and bear all the pain, while Rui is happy in fulfilling her dreams and is due to bear the love of her life's child. (Keep in mind there was drama in the form of other characters like Togen-sensei, Miyabi, and others. But I'm referring to the main romantic drama at this point.) Kei Sasuga is showing just how great and comforting the world is for Rui, how amazing it is to feel fulfilled in life, to have everything going her way. All the while, taking a fat dump on Hina's unrequited pure love. Maybe this is the intention? Maybe this fury I feel is intended, as this is the true hopelessness of the situation. If you have unrequited love, there's nothing else you can do but grin and bear it, while the world just keeps on spinning... ...And then the chapter ends with Hina's mother, who just had to kick Hina right in the gut and support Hina's doomed love for Natsuo, despite the romance already being over. This is painful! |
