| Yeppers, its pretty common in Japan to overwork till the point its detrimental to one's health, its not just Madhouse. You might need to boycot every Japanese product, lol. The gov. has taken some steps to reduce the work hours, but the iffy work culture still persists. |

| Seriously, why does Japan have such TERRIBLE working conditions? This shit is so bad there’s even a term for it...”Karoshi”. Just goes to show you that every country has their bad sides...people like to praise Japan for a lot of things, but this is a HUGE problem...not just in the anime industry but in the general Japanese Workplace. And of course we won’t even get into the suicide factor that is many times tied to this overworked culture. |
