| I liked Death Note (I read it instead of watched it), but after a while, everything started blending together, and I could barely remember all of the rules of the Death Note--it just got way too confusing. I personally liked Mello and Near as characters--I thought Mello was a good villain, and that Near was a good strategist and detective (not as good as L though.). So while I liked it, it eventually caused my brain to melt, which made me give it a 7. |

| I'm in the minority, but I loved the last arc and was completely satisfied with the ending. I agree that the mind games weren't as interesting, but for me the best part about the whole show is Light and his character development, such an interesting protagonist to follow from start to finish, you won't get a character like him in any other series |

| I don't think it gets repetitive. But Death Note was nothing more than an okay show even from the beginning, so it just gets a little worse after L's death, it's okay to think it's boring. I really hate how Kira gets so forced dumb later on (and I think it is even more pathetic on the manga), if Death Note ended with L's death it would have been a better watch. |
