 American anime licensor Sentai Filmworks has announced English dub cast for Gakkougurashi! (School-Live!) on Friday. Shannon Reed will direct the dub, with Katelyn Barr and David Wald in charge of the script.Cast Yuki Takeya: Brittney Karbowski Kurumi Ebisuzawa: Juliet Simmons Miki Naoki: Cynthia Martinez Yuuri Wakasa: Luci Christian Megumi Sakura: Stephanie Wittels Takae Yuzumura : Natalie Rial Kei Shidou: Shanae'a Moore Ishizuka: Johnny Delacerda Shoujouji: Cara Duncan Taroumaru, Akiko Kamiyama, Old Lady: Tiffany Grant Sera: Shannon Reed News Reporter: David Wald Teacher, Saleslady, Announcer: Katelyn Barr Gakkougurashi! adapts the manga by Norimitsu Kaihou and Sadoru Chiba that has been serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward since May 2012. The manga has been published in English as School-Live! by Yen Press since November 2015. Produced by Lerche, the anime aired in Summer 2015 for 12 episodes, and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. | I was actually planning on watching the anime when the dub was announced. I like Brittney so I'm excited to hear her, not sure what to think about Juliet Simmons, I still have mixed feelings about her. |

| Well, the dub doesn't suck. I still prefer the show with an English sub, but this was surprisingly well crafted. Gives me hope that maybe it might get a second season someday. Granted I do dislike how one of the voice actors reveals is one of the big scenes in the show but oh well. |

| I heard about this earlier yesterday (probably after this was posted saw it on Facebook) and I might have to check it out I was surprised to hear about this and so glad it's happening. If I like it enough I'll be buying the DVD for sure (as always 3 ep rule first) |
