| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Spoilers: Here Okay... The boy band thing is getting beyond ridiculous at this point. While I get there may be a reason for it: Kitsu-nee said: . Couldn't have said it any better. This could be squeezed into a few pages to be honest, entire chapter for explaining why everything about their show is perfectection was a bit too much imo :v Though it was worth Ciel's smug smile at the end. That was the only highlight of the chapter. StarsOfRust said: I wouldn't say the boy band thing is a total waste. It must serve some purpose other than pure fan service, otherwise Yana wouldn't have put it in the story. Although I do agree it kills me every chapter when my questions are left unanswered. Anyway, it's time for some speculation.. I think the mastermind behind this blood operation (Undertaker most likely) is distracting Ciel away from investigating further until he has accomplished his goals(making the perfect bizarre dolls with a higher success rate). Straying Ciel away from the real issue.. Now it all makes some sense. When Sebastian was on his way to investigate the heart of the matter, he was confronted by none other than Elizabeth. Elizabeth must've been buying them time so they could get away. In which case, she did a bang-up job. So now, he's using the same tactic again. Knowing Ciel's competitive nature, he used Bravat as bait to temporarily keep Ciel at bay, meanwhile he does his thing without interruption. Until he accomplishes his goals and quietly slips away.(But he also has two shinigami poking their nose into his business so how is he gonna deal with that I wonder?) It's a nice speculation, and I hope it is something like that to make up for all this filler. But I got an inkling that it might not be the case (Well, maybe not as elaborate as that.) and that we wasted through these filler chapters for a reason that might not be as grand as we think, or hope, it is. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the climax to this arc (whenever we come to it) is good. Note: Remember, no linking to illegal reading sites. And please keep the discussion focused on the events in the chapter. Theories are alright as long as the theory is focused on the actions happening this chapter, but not if focused entirely on a fan theory that really isn't focused on said chapter. |

| I love Black Butler to death. I really do. But the boy band thing is so stupid tbh. And I know something big is going to happen in later chapters, but this is just dumb. It's not intolerable, it's just stupid. Why is no one worried about Lizzy? What about the blood donation? What about the stars? Maybe I wouldn't be so hard on this arc if it was just a regular band instead of something so pop like, but honestly, it's just getting ridiculous. It's just mostly fan service and it pisses me off so much. Sorry for ranting. ;-; |

This manga is great but this arc is just ugh so far and it really sucks because right at the beginning, she gave us so much to look forward too. Maybe it's just the painfully slow pace, but ugh. |

| I really wish some things of plot importance would happen, but I can't deny that this chapter was super fun so I guess I'll let it slide this time. Though it's times like these that I wish it were a weekly serialization instead of a monthly one. |
| This is not the kind of arc you do in a monthly series, waiting a month for just another filler chapter has been excruciating, even if the chapters themselves are kind of fun I'm desperate for something relevant to happen. |

| I loved this fun chapter, but man do I want to see this animated! I feel like this arc would make an amazing OVA that could be completed in like four-six episodes. While I do agree that this arc is a bit fun and less serious compared to the Green Witch arc I felt like it was a good change of pace seeing as how dark and raunchy the Green Witch arc was. |

| From an objective standpoint, this idol thing is getting absolutely ridiculous and feels completely out of place...but. BUT. There's this little fan girl demon inside me that keeps squealing at these performances. I just can't help it...guilty pleasures and all that. Looks like the wheels are finally turning now though, what with Ciel and Sebastian turning up at the end! |
