| I've been playing ukulele for a couple months, and I think I've gotten pretty decent at it. The other day I started learning to play bass, too. I can play the basslines to Hey and Gigantic by the Pixies. I've also got an acoustic guitar that I should pick up at some point and try to learn. |

Yup, it's a huge advancement for sure, it's easier to create now compared to the "old" times, when they didn't had anything like this, yet they made so many great song. |

| Bass, guitar (both electric and acoustic), piano, and I did try my hand at drumming for a little while, but gave up with the drumming in the end. I think I'm pretty good with my instruments, though I cannot read music at all and have very little knowledge in music theory. I tend to make my own pieces but generally speaking, if I'm learning something that already exists, I do it by ear. |

| Alright OP, this is blatant racism. Why is the violin not on the poll? There's probably more people playing the violin than people playing others instruments like the bass or banjo, which for some reason, are included in this poll. In fact, I hardly know anyone who takes the graded exams for the guitar, banjo, etc., but I do know plenty of people who've done so for the violin. I've been playing violin for six years now btw. |
