I think I actually mentioned that on this thread several months ago. That could be a serious contender for #1 spot. Another I can think of would be a remastered and more mature Rurouni Kenshin. I could see either of those shooting up to the top and staying there for a very long time. |

| Looks like it's already here looking at Kimi no Na wa. Steins;Gate 0 is an easy choice as well since Steins;Gate is so highly rated, it has the benefit of being a sequel(generally only people who enjoyed the original will watch it), and will probably be able to avoid Steins;Gate's only flaw of a slow start. |

this is better rating than what we have today, i mean gintama occupy half of the top 10 ,i don't know what so great about it . i think an anime adaptation of lone wolf and cub(if there is going to be one ) would be among the top 10 best rated anime. |

| If they nail that Steel Ball Run adaption, when they get to that part of Jojo, then I could see that having 9+ since the manga is already 9+ and all the people who aren't fans of Jojo will have been weeded out by then. Maybe when Re:Zero ends it will be above 9 for a little bit like One Punch was but slowly drop below to 8.9 or so. |

It's like watching Freaky Friday + The Butterfly Effect + 5cm/s... but it is much better than any of those movies. Did it have some cheesy moments? Sure. But it was also really creative storytelling - and leaves a big impact (no pun intended for those who have seen it) for being 1 hr 46 minutes. I'd try to watch it again if you could. I'd say it about as good as Samurai X's OVA, Tsuiokuhen. |

| Well, Koe no Katachi's manga has an impressive score of 8.72 and its movie adaptaion is going to be done by KyoAni, the same studio that did Haruhi's movie which was once the highest rated entry on MAL..so my bet goes to this one. |
