You said you wanted to see a good film, why are you even considering Titanic? Titanic is mediocre. Go watch something good like Heat or The Sting or something.

I've rewatched Titantic almost seven times now and my reaction definitely wasn't the same as the first time I watched it. After the 2nd time, it wasn't even sad anymore lol. However, my favorite part was still my favorite part (the quartet choosing to die together).

I remember rewatching it about 5-6 times out of boredom, it was a nice ride the first 2 times but got pretty boring after that.

No, in my opinion it isn't worth rewatching.

I'd say watch Titanic if you wanna know what the live action version of Disney's Titanic would be like, otherwise, just go watch Aliens or Terminator 2 instead

I like it, I've probably re-watched it 4-5 times, I haven't watched it in years though because I remember it really well.

If you like it then just go ahead and re-watch it.

It's my guilty pleasure, but I can't recommend it with a clear conscience. While I enjoyed the highlights on the real life Titanic survivors, the whole movie is bogged down by Jack and Rose's silly and melodramatic romance. If you like that kind of thing, more power to you. But I don't feel like it's a great movie worth revisiting at all. Like SolidPayne said, Aliens and T2 are more worth rewatching, and even T2 gets old for me.

It's fine for what it is, which is a romance movie masquerading as a disaster movie. If you feel like it's worth it, go for it.

James Cameron has made better movies (the first two Terminators, Aliens, The Abyss etc) but has also made much worse (Avatar, Sanctum).

I've watched it dozens of times. It's still a pretty good movie.

I think it's definitely a good movie to rewatch once in a while. I liked Leo and Kate in there.
