| Anyone else bothered/distracted by Mai's character design? The series is pretty boring so far and my attention always focuses to her. This never happened to me before. She's not particularly my preference but dammmmnn. Especially her moles pointed by arrows. I thought they were dust on my screen at first. I even tried to wipe it. xDD First saw it on ep 1 but now I cannot UNSEE it... What is this phenomenon? Discuss. |

| I totally understand what you mean. KyoAni usually does really well visually and it isn't the first time they've put in a busty character with longer/long-ish hair, but it's only Mai that's super distracting. I feel that the show so far is purposely trying to make her stand out for the sake of making all of the unnecessary fanservice acceptable. |

They keep it rolling for like the first few then she was pretty much invisible when Haruko came. They still kept Mai involved here, but honestly the rubbing she does is more annoying than anything else. Her design is fine but the BS teasing doesn t make up for the lackluster feel of the show. And the physics draw people away from what's happening. |
