I know it's really late to ask this, but can somebody kind enough to inform me Lydia's seiyu's name ? Damn, her accent is too sensual to hear that I keep rewatch every episodes that she's in.

WTF was up with this episode... it seemed to have a drastically different directing style. There seemed to be much more emphasis on facial feature and the comedy aspect of the series. On top of all of that it had a much quicker pace than any previous episode... I'm definitely liking all of these changes.

Anyway, this episode had a lot of nice progression in both story and character backgrounds/relationships. Great episode!!! 8/10

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the difference in animation in the episode. The style felt kinda all over the place. It wasn't as elegant as before.

Aside from the shoddy animation the episode was still worth watching.

This was such a surprisingly good episode, for a minute there I thought I was watching an actual fantasy show. Good thing they ruined it with the muppet show at the end.

Thanks, man. Imma go rewatch Lydia now, luv her & her accent so much, doesn't sound very Japanese to me, dunno why. Still can't believe she used 2 voice Aruru w/ her Lydia's sexy voice though.

I"m going to agree with nelodeath, except that I kind of didn't like it. The episode jumped around so much and felt totally disconnected from the last episode. I like what they hit on, but I felt like the tomb and Gaius' report needed more time. The fight animation was excellent as always, but there was a lot of warped character stuff going on with Gaius and Arawn and Arthur in the beginning.

Other than that, good episode. It seems like this Myrddin is the one who killed Arthur and Rihannon's father, so it's nice to have some movement on that front.

Okay episode, at this point, I don't know what I'm watching it for: No romance as Arawn keeps playing the hard to get & the girls keeps being shy or oblivious; no clue on Arawn's objective, seems to me like he's playing around; Lydia is gone, making an unlimited hollow in my heart. Not even Octavia's hotness, Arawn's badassness + well designed action sequences can bring back the hype I felt at the beginning anymore. & I even thought I can enjoy this show as much as Utawarerumono too, what a disappointement

Pretty good episode; the fight with the ogre was really great, I thought. I just love it that they actually show the blood in this.

Next episode looks good~

Probably the best episode in the series for now, with an animation and a direction twice as good as any previous episode and great script developments (finally) ! Good action sequences too and a great emphasis has been put on facial animation as nelodeath said earlier, which creates much more lively characters. Wonder who the director and animation director are (is?) for this episode, it was really different from the first 13, and far better in my opinion.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

The main script difference is the fact that they finally presented the actual plot of the story after an unbelivable amount of fillers.
The problem is that 12 episodes will hardly suffice to develop it fully.

i wonder if arawn actually is acting goofy on purpose to piss off giues or not? anyways both sides need money and more soldiers, hopefully we'll see some big action soon

Rathty fought one of this look a like ogre awhile in the colleseum..

What was that skill from Ogam (fire, wind, water/lighting) so cool

Wow 3 finishing blows.

This anime looks more like MMORPG for me, fight wiht party, loot item and stuffs

Nice orge fight and Ogam is one badass guy. Magicians are powerful.

Generally a good episode. We also had development of the main plot in both camps. Things about Arawn past and connection with the past of Arthur and also the inner conflicts in the empire.
It looks like war is really gone start in the next episodes.

I don't really get it but..

Riannon's voicing two dragons in her solo puppet show is somewhat cute..

so would gathering forces be a form of a training arc?

Hmmm....why do I get the feeling that time travel is involved with this? If Arwan was asleep for hundreds of years, then how can he have been there when Arthur and Riannon's dad was killed? Unless it was in the past...

Everything will be made clear in future episodes, but we've returned to the game arcs and the main plot. The visit to the tomb, the recall of Gaius to the Imperial capital, and the late night puppet show are all from the cut scenes in the game (which may explain some directorial differences from previous episodes). As for people complaining about the lack of romance, play the game, you'll get much more there--and remember that Japanese TV would be squeamish about showing just how much romance there is between Arawn and his multiple wives. By this point we have gotten an idea that there is some deep sorrow affecting Arawn somehow related to Myrrdin (the being who gave humans fire--as we were told earlier in the series). It gets real next week as we hit a high point in the drama, and move towards a climactic clash of arms.
Please don't feed the trolls!

Arawn is just too likable, he's the only reason I somewhat enjoy this show & continued to watch.
