| Out of all the english dub animes that I have watched the only english speaking voice actor that always pops out to me is Steven Blum who voices for Spike in Cowboy Bebop, Mugen in Samurai Champloo, and Onizuka in GTO. I was wondering who was other peoples favorites. |

| I have to go with Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, I absolutely love her as Motoko Kusanagi in the Ghost in the Shell dubs. On top of that, she's a kick ass singer who sand "You're not here" for Silent Hill, which is an awesome song. A close second for me would be Crispin Freeman, who's badass as roles such a Kyon, Alucard and Togusa as well as his role as Albedo in the Xenosaga franchise. |

| Jamieson Price. He put in my all time favourite performance as Ovan in .hack//G.U. and was also excellent as Georg in Suikoden V. Two different characters, two different performances and both efforts were of the highest quality. Anyone who votes JYB hasn't heard him enough. He gets waaay too many roles an sounds identical most of the time, no matter the character. I like his voice but it gets to be a problem when you hear JYB speaking an not the character. |
| My favourite male actors include Spike Spencer and Greg Ayres. Spike brings an innocent adorableness to such characters as Hanataro and Majic (Orphen), and can also go spazz. Ironically, he wants to play psychopath characters. Greg meanwhile plays a very convincing teen character, and Satoshi Hiwatari is one of my favourite characters just because of that soft voice of his. Female-wise are Hilary Haag (FMP's Teletha), Michelle Ruff (when she plays the cute girl character. Not into the Rukia voice) and Bridgette Hoffman (Mizuho from Please Teacher). They all bring the right tones for their characters. |

| Well, I try to watch as few dubs as possible, since I am a bit of a purist, but vic mignogna is just... Well, too good! Seriously, youtube his name and watch some of the anime-conventions that he has done. You will be hooked! Over this past weekend, I myself watched about 20+ panels that he (and the rest of the FMA cast) did. There arent many VAs that can do what he can. He is just able to bring that special something to each of the characters that he does. Whenever he is the main lead of a show, I have to debate myself on wether or not to watch a sub or the english dub. No other VA has put me in that position A close 2nd would have to be Steve Blum (aka, "the voice") though. He is another guy who can bring out a performance that is breathtaking. | Vic is good, so is Spike, Steven, Greg, and Chris Patton. Female is actually harder, it is the opposite of Japan, in Japan females are better in America males. I have Amanda Winn Lee on my favorite people but her few roles I have seen, Momiji in Blue Seed, Rei, Ms. Depp, Yohko, and Gido from MAR were good. |

| I was going to avoid this thread, not being a particular fan of dubs, but I thought of one voice actor who did a dub or two I enjoyed; Tim Curry. He's a brilliant actor, but he's also done a lot of excellent voice work over the years. While most of it is American cartoon and animated movie work, I fondly recall he was the King (of cats) in Neko no onegaeshi (The Cat Returns) -- one of my favourite Ghibli films. |

| *SHUDDER* He's not bad or anything, but Johnny Yong Bosch is getting on my nerves with how many of the dubbed anime that I watch he's in. Such as: Bleach - Ichigo Wolf's rain - Kiba Naruto + Shippuden - Sagi Eureka Seven - Renton Code Geass - Lelouch Full Metal Alchemist - Lujon + more that I couldn't be bothered to mention. For me it's just an OMFG: Why is he in everything? Oh yeh. brad Swaile's pretty gd. |
| You are right, Johnny Yong Bosch seems to be everywhere, even in video games. I have been playing The Last Remnant, Devil May Cry 4 and Persona 4 recently and he has voiced main character in each one of them! |

| Eric Vale, and Jerry Jewell are very good favorites of mine that come to be great at most if not all the roles they portray. Whether it be there stunning performance in Baccano! to Vales performance as Trunks, Krory, etc. Jewell's portrayal in Shuffle!, Case Closed, Baccano!, and now in Evangelion they always are the best choices for there roles. I really don't see what people see in JYB. I admit in despite he has few roles that he does that are very good, but his roles as his Lelouch, and him voicing Daisuke Ono are among the ones that I disagree with. Chris Patton is also somewhere among my favs aswell. |

| Don't listen to alot of dubs unless i dl a duel audio rip and it changes over to english then i sometimes listen to it to see how it sounds. Out of everything i heard, i think the girl that did the Child version of Goku in Dragon ball was great. |

| I've only seen a couple of episodes of GTO, Pokémon season 1-9 and some random movies with enlish dub, and I gotta say that Eric Stuart's voice was the best thing about Pokémon. I even dropped the series because the switched voice actors after the 8th season... |
