| First ep done, 26 more to go. This was awesome. I can definetley say i did not get what i was expecting, Yoko's voice isnt what i was expecting it to be after all the images and stuff i've seen of her, same with Kamina, however i got used to Yoko's by the end of the episode and Kamina's in 18.4201 seconds. I'll probably not wait for KAA's releases and just download whats there, as this seems like a show i'll be marathoning like hell. |

Thats why I usually only get their work they have already completley done the show. I was planning on waiting for them to do complete TTGL before i watched it, but seeing as theres a movie coming out and im on holidays right now i decided i might as well watch it now. edit: oh my god my grammer, sentence structure and everything is simply superb there, that i shall not change its epicness. |

| wow . amazing animation. characters may have to grow on me. right now i like simoun, and a i get the feeling kamina will grow on me. I liked yoko at first, buti i get the feeling she wont have much depth to her character. |

| Oh God the sexism in language. I'm getting tired of seeing it lately. Stupid Kamina. I really hate him despite his viva la resistance coolness. And what the hell is with a guy always apologizing when he falls on a girl's breasts? It was probably more her fault than his. Any, good response by Yoko though. Lack of Victorian gender role that women are supposed to be the "gatekeepers" and avoid sexual contact at all possible. Oh dear though, that means Yoko is a Shotacon.XD Yeeeeah, Shota fanservice! |

I don't have a good excuse either, except maybe that during the time period this anime aired, I had taken a break on anime during the year of 2007, and missed out various shows. What REALLY suprised me, was Yoko's voice and personality! I've seen countless images on this show, and Yoko especially. I assumed her to be, different. Though I'm glad I was wrong because I instantly fell in love with her, and usually I don't fall for a character unless I'm 3-4 eps in! She was fantastic, this show all together was just amazing! I would marathon it, but something tells me I should treasure it while it lasts :D<3 |

| Well, colour me pleasantly surprised! That was quite entertaining. Although, I couldn't help but notice: Girl with big, long gun; guy with rather long sword; the many, many drills; the insertion of that little drill in the "Lagann" to start it up...Phallic much? This would have been Freud's dream! Also, the whole breaking through the ceiling into forbidden territory, and finding a whole new world of peril? It's almost like the rebellion of youth and the consequent headlong rush into the harsh reality of the real world our parents kind of shielded us from as we were growing up. I think I'm going to like this series! |
