| Well, although I am also hoping that Kyoto Animation is doing the anime, I find that Kyoto Animation kinda lacks something in adapting Key titles. The thing they are good at is comedy; end of story. Key's storylines are often emotional and touching -- they are suppose to make people cry. Kyoto Animation missed that point, and only expanded on the comical parts. Though this does not really pull down the points for their anime adaptions, I just find it disappointing for an adaption of a game that touched so many people to actually not make me cry. I agree that more animation companies should try out animating Key's stories. Maybe they can fill in what Kyoto Animation missed. And also, hopefully, the style of Angel Beats! is going to be similar to those of previous Key titles, where there is both comedic and emotional events. As long as the anime can make me laugh and cry, I'll say the anime is one of the best in the world. And also, hoping for an anime adaption for Little Busters!. I know a lot of people have been waiting for / talking about it. I'm a big fan of the game itself too, and I seriously hope that some anime studio (most probably Kyoto Animation, but recently they seem to be too focused on Haruhi to actually plan for another anime) can take up the job of adapting it. Seriously, I mean it. |

They don't troll viewers and milk the moe fans like KyoAni, and I daresay their animation is at the very least on par with KyoAni's, probably better. Their writers are as mediocre as KyoAni's, but there's not much you can do to salvage a Key story. :v |

| The animation looks promising (if promotion pictures say anything about animation, that is) even though a different studio is animating it, so... I'm in. I'm also in for some Kyoto-animated Little Busters! after this. |
