| Watching Genji meet the child: NO OH GOD NO. YOU BETTER NOT. Watching Genji about to rape his stepmom: I suspected this was coming, yet nonetheless I am filled with despair. First the emperor marries Fujitsubo because she looks like Genji's dead mom, then Genji falls in love with her. Then he's intrigued by a child that looks like Fujitsubo. Now he gives up all pretense of hiding his desires and straight up rapes his stepmom. Oedipus complex disaster. |
