| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- What a lovely episode! This series does a great job with establishing the setting and Porfy's life right now. I love that Porfy's mom is got a real backstory and characterization; it really makes me like her a lot more than I would without it. The whole family and even the village is just so sweet and tight-knit, so if and when anything bad happens it will be really devastating. "I'll stay with Mom and Dad forever!" Oh, Mina, if only you knew... Poor Zaimis; I bet he gets pulled back and forth by Porfy and Mina a lot. Watching Apollo move his head back and forth is surprisingly adorable! Mina has clever naming skills too. |
