| Yea, definitely better than the first episode... it looks like these first 2 epi are made to set the back story... let's see if things will get more interesting from here. Only thing that pissed me off about the episode was this:  Seriously... swinging a sword with your eyes closed = bad idea! |

I haven't read the manga after chapter 10, so I'm also only guessing, but I'm with douwolf on this one. I think it's the only solution, there's not many people Gil would have acted like that for, and as the wasn't protecting somebody he finds important (it seems that the only person like that is Oz), but rather that he wanted to protect Oz from hurting a person important to him, it's kinda the only possible candidate (as it couldn't be his uncle, he was present at the same time as the masked people were shown). Plus there some facts from the manga Well, I simply loved the ep, even though and because I've read the manga a bit ahead. But Alce was wonderful. I don't get why they inserted Alice fighting scene, I think it didn't fit, but oh well, maybe they thought that some action was absolutely nessesary. Alice saying Oz is her property, as she just decided so, was beautiful))))) Although I felt a bit uneasy about all scene with throwing into Abyss, it was a little unnatural... All stuff with Gil shouting what is Oz's crime while even being unable to stand, and Oz trying to help him and resulting in that scene... In manga is was ok, but in the anime... But I easily forgive that) Especially with that moment with Oz afterwords... His real shock, he was just shaking... Although he's usually really tough. Break & Sharon were great too) And now on to the better) I'm loving the next ep in advance) P.S. Wait for Mochi sub, all who can. They're taking their time to QC is really well, they're doing it for 5 days already. They're serious, I'm expecting really high quality. |

I really liked this episode, great music, I'm looking forward to the OST. One small thing that is bothering me is that when the clock stroke12, all the guests and Oz's uncle were all acting surprised, but after that we didn't see them anymore? Did they flee? They didn't help Oz? I'm confused.. |

| Not bad! Alice is really likable and Gil is such a pretty boy ^-^. I just love the scene with Oz and Sharon <3 It's cute and funny xD and Break's voice is creepy but HAWT. I love the music/OST alot. <3 |

| I'm starting to really like this series. The how Gothic atmosphere just amazes me. It also really reminds me of Alice in Wonderland with a touch of Gothic, which for me is a great idea. The music is also superb, well it is Yuki Kajiura after all. ^_^ |

| Well at least one plus for me -- Yuki-sama's doing the music. Now I have a reason to watch this. I can't believe I'm the only one who thinks that giant rabbit warriors are LAME. Shame for Alice, I liked her... before she turned into this lame thing which is more suitable for kodomo, not for shounen. |

I mean, everyone wants to take him and make him their own property, even this big ass rabbit that came out of nowhere, lol. Also, I wonder who that other Shinigami was since Gil tried to protect him. Must be really close to Oz or something. ALSO, WAS THAT THE ADULT GIL IN THE END? or he's just another new guy? Hmm. |
| better than the first episode. B-rabbit? The animation in the fight scenes wasn't very good, but i guess thats okay for a shojo. i couldn't help but laugh at the Rabbit as it flew through the air. Awww, poor Gil! Wow, Gil grown up^_^, wonder if he's still shy and afraid of cats. |
