Wasn't Lady Georgie set at Australia, before she went after her pseudo-brother/fiancée/hot guy to England?

Scandinavia/Britain ... animate Vinland Saga now plz.

Also ancient Greece/Near East. Animate Historie too.

A historical China (non-fantasy/stereotypefest/Jorney to the West knockoff) anime would be awesome as well.

I'm surprised they haven't more considering how popular the lost tribes theory is in Japanese anthropology programs.

I personally don't like the flora and fauna in Israel, too desert for me.:<

How about more shows that are in the country side. Or someplace where schools aren't 4 floors and the size of a small island and there aren't kids who live by themselves in monstrous homes.

There's lots of interesting conflicts that could have been awesome animes, what about the Ottoman empire's conquest of Byzantium? Something with the Teutonic crusade against Lithuania would be awesome, and so would anything about the Mongols or the Timurids.
There needs to be more historical medieval anime.

or Viking, Indian, and Incan Anime.

sounds cool? not

I'd puke at the murder they'd do if this was the case. But why not? Let's just hope they get it right if ever they make one.

Casualties would be low and the scenery would most likely be very beautiful.

er... i.. in a manly sort of way *cough*

Ever seen Kaze no Shoujo Emily and Anne of Green Gables (and of course the upcoming spring-season is going to feature Before Green Gablles). All set on Prince Edward Island.

Ha, I had no idea there was an anime of Anne of Green Gables. I remember reading that book in school. My mom loves it too so I've seen all those Canadian film adaptations. Seeing an anime version would be pretty odd.

Michiko to Hatchin?

Haven't watched it yet, but they say it has some City of God nuances. Though I preferred the anterior movie.

Well, there's already manga with Vikings, but what's up with the Incans? There's so much unused potential right there.
It's always like that, in every form of entertainment, you've got countless movies, books, games and anime related to WW2, and it feels almost like nothing else ever happened in human history.

After playing Empire: TW, I'd also be up for some 17-1800 anime with line infantry and epic sea battles.

Anterior? City of Men? That one came later. And wasn't quite as staggering tbh.

Anime, settled in Russia which describes the problems of paying for the mortgage on the fringes of Moscow, problems about not having enough money to buy a satchet of buckwheat porridge, a jar of canned salted cucumbers and a 1.5 litre bottle of vodka. So, just something which resembles GTA IV style.
