| There's lots of interesting conflicts that could have been awesome animes, what about the Ottoman empire's conquest of Byzantium? Something with the Teutonic crusade against Lithuania would be awesome, and so would anything about the Mongols or the Timurids. There needs to be more historical medieval anime. |

My mom loves it too so I've seen all those Canadian film adaptations. Seeing an anime version would be pretty odd. |
