I always watch all the fillers because if I don't it feels as if I haven't experienced the series properly. If I didn't want any fillers I would have read the manga instead or something. I will watch even the most pointless, stupid fillers if that means not missing anything.

I ALWAYS watch every single filler... The only one i ever skiped was either the second or the third excalibur filler from soul eater... I couldn't take the torture anymore (i enjoyed the others though... I thought it was funny how annoying he was)

Unless it is a pure recap episode, I usually watch them. I'm more likely to multitask, but I still usually watch them. And once in a while, some of the filler is better than the manga based canon (around the halfway point of Bleach, they interrupt a kinda boring canon arc for a pretty interesting "filler" arc imo).

Unless we get a good filler like ONE PIECE, G8, everything will be fine.

I'm watching Naruto now, and with only a few exceptions (the cliche "onsen trip" and what not), I cannot even tell where the fillers are. They do a really good job of world building, so the fillers feel very natural and not forced slice of life like some other shows. I'd actually recommend the fillers as you get to appreciate some of the characters more than you might have otherwise.

Most of the times I skip fillers, but sometimes I watch it like in gintama I watched all the fillers cause there is only little (and their fillers are also funny). So it depends on the anime

I always try to watch them, if I like the anime in question at least, I usually run away from anime with a lot of fillers

❝見つめないで 悲しい方を
目を瞑って 口づけしよう
甘く溶けるメロディー❞

❝邪魔しないで
真夜中のパラダイス
息もせずに潜っていく
二人だけのダンス❞

I hate them but I watch them as it breaks the whole "recording on mal" thing

I mean take this as an example

Anime X has Y number of total episodes but Z number of fillers

So if I skip the fillers... Although I canonically completed it, it isn't completed here. Unless you think otherwise

For me, it depends on the show I'm watching. When it came to watching shows like Naruto when I was young, I didn't know what the concept of filler was. However, I was aware that the episodes that followed after the Sasuke Retrieval arc didn't have much relevance to the storyline. Because of this, I fell off of watching Naruto at a certain point. I eventually got back into Naruto some time later when I heard about Naruto Shippuden. I watched some of the filler from the beginning of Naruto Shippuden to the end of the Pain arc. However, I didn't watch very many filler episodes that proceeded after that arc.

If the filler gets boring and long, I speed it up and see if gets better with time. Else, skip that episode completely

Depends on the Anime, I love Ah! My Goddess! and Chobits quite a bit, but always skip Chobits filler episodes, because they add nothing to Chi & Hideki's fascinating relationship growth, while I always watch Ah! My Goddess' because as a Slice of Life series I enjoy the character moments a lot because Bell & Kei's relationship growth is positively glacial, thank god the manga picked up the pace at the end and they finally got hitched, I wish they would do a Wedding Movie or OVA now that the main AMG manga story is complete...

Anime exclusive content aka fillers give me more episodes of a show I like, more time with the characters I grew fond of - of course I am watching them. Why wouldn't I ?
I never get why ppl do skip so called fillers ... and then set the show as "completed" despite not having watched it in its entirety <.<

Depends mostly on what kind of filler it is, if it's straight recap like I think 2 episodes were in HxH then I'm skipping it, there's absolutely no point to watching them especially if you are binging.

Regular kind of filler where it just doesn't progress anything I'll still watch but I'll just hate myself.

Fillers are original to the anime and part of the show, if I skip them then I skip part of the show, then I wouldn't truly "complete" the show, otherwise I'd just read the manga and get it done with if I didn't want to bother watching the whole show.

I watch all episodes.
I don't know why but I never dropped a show as far as I can remember.
Even if I don't enjoy it that much, I give it a chance even until the last episode.
Also it feels more redeeming to me if I completed it.

No, I skip them.

I prefer the canon material as fillers do not have any material impact or consequences to the actual story.

Nope, I'm a goddamn masochist. And as a masochist, I endure every filler episodes the anime has to offer. That will also affect the overall score of the show. Besides, I hate skipping stuff to be honest. I want to see the entire thing, it feels incomplete if I don't do that. Like a loving a person, I want to see everything they have, even if it's good or bad.

I watch them all. Sometimes fillers bring into light some stuff that the manga wasn't able to explore, or are appropriate to the anime setting, things like that. And I very rarely read the manga before watching the anime unless it was out WAAAAY before the adaptation and something I had already loved; I usually read it after I've already watched the anime, so who the heck knows which episodes are actually fillers lmao.

I am forever your most devoted believer.

I mainly don't skip them. Well, I don't usually watch anime with fillers. For One Piece I have watched them but since Narutos last 80 episodes are filler so I skipped that

I've probably not watched enough anime to come across series that are riddled with fillers. But I actually enjoy watching filler-ish episodes. I get to explore the depths of the characters or the world which I would otherwise not have been able to in the main arcs of the stories.

I haven't watched too many shows that have filler in them, but it really depends on the series. From the few anime that I have seen with them, I don't mind watching it because I enjoy the anime enough where I can power through even some of the worst filler episodes/ arcs. Others, not so much.

The only anime I can name where I've skipped filler was Naruto: Shippuden.
