| That was a bit of a timeskip with Takuto already having his "elf" look. I actually enjoyed the slow feel of the episode. They took their good time in introducing the characters in the team and that's always a good thing. |

| I'm trying to figure out which side the anime wants us to support. It seems like they want us to side with Funeral but they don't really seem the best either. And Soma just seems like a dick but then again it feels like the anime is showing how villians are born. |

| Considering they mentioned Faust and Mephistopheles I'm thinking that red haired guy might be a demon instead of a hallucination like I initially thought. Idk how I feel about that if that does ends up being the case. Right now the series seems to be grounded in scifi aside from Hattie's (newtype like) connection to Frank to be adding supernatural elements. He could also just be a split personality that developed in Takuto's head after he "died." |
| The "Funeral" unit are all wooden military stereotypes with no interesting characteristics or traits. Not a good sign. So far the most engaging writing comes from when Hattie and Frank are involved, and perhaps Takuto now that he appears to be less of an impulsive brat now. |
