| I don't like either of them. I liked Hakaze while she was still trapped on the island, but then she just became annoying with her crush on Yoshino. It would have been fine if she wasn't so over the top about it, the whole thing just seemed silly and ruins the serious tone the show held until that point. Aika on the other hand... I do like her better I suppose, and the flashbacks of her with Yoshino make her more endearing, but her personality just irritates me. Seeing her lose her cool and punch Hakaze was satisfying though. If I had to choose, I guess it would be Aika. |

| Aika deifinetely. Although I liked Hakaze, Aika has that something that you cannot find in other anime female characters. She is one of a kind. Trully amazing with her sharpness and inteligence. I was also stunned with her ability to settle everything alone and not depend on anybody. Just Great. |

| Hakaze was a bit over the top once she had her crush on Yoshino T_T But it was a bit fun to watch. I'm not a big fan of unrequisited love (Friend zone FTL) Aika was decent, but quoting Shakespear 24/7 kills it for me. And her personality was crap. I guess I'd choose Hakaze. |

| I like this question, because they both are willful, strong heroines (two in one series is quite unusual) and jet they are very different in the way they see the world around them. While Hakaze is really likable, little bit sheltered girl who happens to be extremely strong princess, Aika is that femme fatale type who is driving plot, whose relationships with characters (even after her death!) motivates main characters to make decisions in present. Aika is smart, reads Shakespeare, is beatiful in her own way, seems fragile, is unpredictable and in the end we find out that she is the strongest character in series both mentally and physically. I simply choose her, because she is unique as a character. In my opinion hands down they both are beautiful and amazing characters. |
