| I really want to say Hatenkou Yuugi but I have a feeling you'll just end up giving it a 4 or 5 but I'll recommend it anyways. It gets more in depth as the series progresses giving short, stand alone parables with some 2-3 episode arcs in between much like Michiko and Jing but with more of a gothic feel. I especially recommend episodes 4,5 and 6. |

| Try Kyoukai no Kanata. Slice-of-life, supernatural. And sort of dark (but also cute, so you may not like it because of that...) |

| Death Billards -- the ending really got me. Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu -- it's a special but it's quite heartfelt though the plot is a bit absurd. Ookiku Furikabutte -- nice slice of life sports anime aka slow pace for a sports anime but it's cute. Ping Pong The Animation -- the art is terrible and once you get past that, it's also slow but waaay more realistic. Ojii-san no Lamp Petshop of Horrors Uta Kata Also, Michiko to Hatchin -- has a jazzy feel. tried going off on the anime you seemed to like but they're all probably just okay or a complete miss with you...Hatenkou Yuugi and NGNL 6 and 1. Really?!? a 1! |
