I know that Avatar: The Legend of Korra is not an anime, but it does have elements of an anime and it the first season was on a anime download site.

The thing is I am wondering when Avatar: The Legend of Korra will be showing, as I have check the internet and it doesn't give me an answer, so does anyone know when it is going to air.

Thanks.

I've never watched any of the Avatar shows, so not sure if this is correct but from what I can tell, the first I guess book is already aired and the second one comes out September 13th?

But I'm just going off this

Thanks for the info.

I should have mention that I am looking for the second season of Avatar: The Legend of Korra, as I have watched the first season and has been waiting for some sort of info, but got nothing from google or wikipedia. Go figure.

Your sarcasm aside, this site's DB already allows Manhwa which are from Korea in the database. So they don't even mantain their policy of keeping only media(anime and Manga) in the DB.

Though, seriously IMDB is way better to search for Western cartoons.

I'm going to give IMDB some credit: They make no distinction between "Western cartoons" vs "Japanese animation". Not when they do categorization anyways.

Actually the second book of Avatar: Legend of Korra, subtitle Spirit, has been out for some time and I had downloaded the last episode a few days ago. So anyone who see more of the show will have to wait, until, maybe, next fall.

Book 3 will air next year, on Nickelodeon most likely. What are you asking exactly?

Are you talking about Last Airbender or Korra? Last Airbender to me was just overall great from Book 1 to Book 3. Legend of Korra had a good first season although it had a rushed and anti climatic ending but the second season was really mediocre.

i agree with the downfall of the second season. it was so hard for me to go through. i was disjointed because i loved the first season so much.

It was inevitable though. The rushed and lack luster ending of the first season to me was a prime indicator that the second season wouldn't be good.

I'm really not that much into Korra either, but I can't bring myself to dislike it. The stories and interactions are still interesting, funny and well-written (imo) but I have two major issues with Korra:

1. I'm a huge fan of adventure travels and Korra is more stuck in one place compared to the numerous travels of TLA. That's why in Korra I enjoyed the parts about the travels of the first avatar the most. It's a personal preference, but quite relevant for me.

2. The cast in Korra just isn't as awesome as in the first. I really don't dislike it, but I loved every member of the original. Nobody in Korra is as likeable as Sokka, Toph or Iroh, just to name a few. Without that much attachment to the character the plot just doesn't seem that captivating.
I probably regret this post by now.

I agree with your first point but not fully with your second point. If the first season of Korra had a different ending the second season could of brought back the whole globe trotting adventures that was common in the Last Airbender. The different ending I'm talking about would be
For your second point in my opinion Bolin and Varrick are as likeable as Sokka but I agree with the other characters. Korra herself to me is not as likeable as Aang because she is way too overpowered and just doesn't work as hard as Aang. Aang had to actually learn the other elements while Korra since the age of four could already use 3 elements.

Good point about Aang being more likeable because he puts in more effort, I agree. And while I really enjoy Bolin and Varrick as well, I just love Sokka more. Also I really don't want to criticize the cast of Korra, it's pretty good, it just doesn't reach the levels of TLA. It could also be related to my first point because travels just allow for more/easier/better character development in many cases.

Damn, now I'm in a mood to rewatch TLA again -.-

I agree I like the cast of TLA better than the Korra cast. The war actually was what made the whole traveling around the world in TLA necessary and the war between bender and non benders could of had the same effect on the Legend of Korra. By ending that war in season 1 it kind of killed any future seasons. Wanting to re watch TLA is understandable considering it was such a good show.

The ending of Korra was fucking shit. No, Korra was never as good as its predecessor, but it held its own, particularly in the first season. It's really sad when something so good turns into something so bad. What went wrong with the finale of the second season was its constant asspulls and overly melodramatic romance.

Considering the rushed and mediocre ending of the first season and the fact that the second season would focus a lot more on spirits than benders I wasn't surprised by the predictable, terrible ending of the second season. The only good things about the second season were Varrick and the origin story of the first Avatar.
