| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This strikes me as extremely nonsensical and also a little retarded. Why did the man who can walk on water erase Kenshiro's brother's memory in the first place? And he put the children on a boat the size of a nutshell to cross the ocean, knowing that they were going to be accepted as Hokuto's disciples? Why should Kenshiro be unable to defeat Hyo, just because he is his elder brother? I call bullshit. One the amusing side of this episode: - A sniper with a crossbow in a chuch tower. And a gatling gun that apparently shoots knitting needles. - Kaioh looks wicked. By the way, I wonder if it's just me or if the animation is extraordinarily crappy in this episode and a few before it. Not that the show looked great to begin with... (except for one episode in the first series, can't remember which one. Everything looked different and it was awesome.) |

| I swear everyone Kenshiro meets ends up dying within 10 episodes...oh well Rock was nowhere near as cool as Ein. Kaioh just looks like an ethereal version of Raoh to me... It was episode 49 which had the good animation: the first fight between Raoh and Kenshiro |

| Here they go butchering the backstories even further, I don't understand why the old man had to erase Hyo's memory in the first place It also sort of ruins what we knew of Raoh, if we look at the backstories he should have cared for Kenshiro but in the original series he didn't give a damn for him as human being So Rock dies along with his squad, didn't really cared about him anyways so.... |
