So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?
I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?
I wonder how long people would put up with this.
As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Interesting to know these two manga also have novels.

I don't follow most of those LN but quite interested in Silver Spoon now...
Will probably read after the anime series finishes watching. I'm glad it's been doing well though. A friend of mine also said it's faithful to its adaptation so far.

Isayama must be really happy with his first ever manga becoming such a success.
I just realized. If you put the volumes in order, each volume has less and less sales. Volume 10 will probably hit 1.3 Volume 11 1.2 Volume 12 1.1 Volume 13 1.1.Volume 14 1.0 etc. At this rate it's going a little less than 100k per book. Maybe it's because of how long each book was on the market? Either way, it's still less and less.

Still, having every manga volume taking a spot in the top 30 of the rankings is quite the accomplishment. I also think it has to do the time the volumes has been on the market.
Happy about Sakurasou 10, we need season 2!!! Looking forward to 10.5

10 volumes just wow.
Actually 12 volumes including 5.5 and 7.5, will be 13 once 10.5 is done, assuming that is the last one. More than enough material for season 2 given that season 1 only covered 1-6 + a bit of 5.5 and `st chapter of 7.
And 10 is super awesome. It really, really needs to be animated! That ending...

I think is logical - everybody starts reading it (or sampling it) with the vol.1 and as each volume goes it can only go down in sales because of the boring story, plot developments or whatever makes someone drop a manga.
But the constant negative trend is something troubling. I wonder when will the sales stabilise.

Or simply that they haven't got around to buying the later volumes yet?
Plus the drop from v7 to v10 is only 80k and dropping week by week. This is in no way a troubling situation.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.
SnK is still doing exceptionally well given the number of weeks it's been doing so already. And I'm pleased to see Silver Spoon having such good sales as well. I've finished catching up to the manga just recently and it was really worth it.

Very happy to see this here. Before this started I used to think the author was a "one-hit wonder", but this one is proving me wrong. It's a very unusual manga with a peculiarly slow progression (in that sense it feels a bit like his magnum opus Beck in the first few volumes).
The plot may seem very typical on the surface but I honestly have no idea where the plot is going, since it mixes two completely different ideas. The two main characters are a girl who has supernatural powers that allow her to talk to the dead and a beta teenager who's aiming to become a mangaka, funny thing is, they aren't together for the most of the story, their meeting wasn't a fated incredible meeting and the story has been focusing more on the guy trying to become a mangaka - by the way his stories are somewhat hilarious even though you don't see them completely, he made a oneshot about a savate expert who's a freeloader and has been getting two-timed by a snack girl, he ends up setting fire to a french restaurant.
I'm also happy to see Wagatsuma-san and Monster Musume doing well.

Um... I assume you meant volume 11? Because volume 10 info was on page 1:
All the volumes of Shingeki no Kyojin are doing as well as ever.
I'm very pleased that Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou Volume 3 managed to get into the top 30, I must admit that I wasn't expecting to make the top 50. I'm very happy that it's selling well. =)
This is one my favourite on-going high school manga, it is still tracking consistently with the previous series. Talented female author took a stab at this genre.
good to see conan at first
also nice sales for kingdom ,anime effect?
still doing good after 3 weeks ,it is a great series. i wish one of the next volumes reaches 1million before it gets an adaption.
Also is there anyone hoping that SnK anime ends? I don't like the fact that every week the majority of posts here and elsewhere are all on it -yes it is great series and i like both anime and manga- but there are also other great manga that needs recognition.
like hell the authors actually care what is written here all they care about ranking/sales.i am just saying my opinion.
