Rimi: Pretty much the only part of Chaos Head I liked. | My votes were the same as I said before, but because the pictures are pretty: & about Yuno, last year I never voted for her because I'd never even heard of Hidamari Sketch, but Japan's saimoe caught my attention so I watched it. If Yuno (and hopefully Miyako too) makes it in, I'll definitely vote for them :D I'm not sure if they'll do any better than they did last year. | Found the problem. ._. I wanted to handle the test case where a user would refresh the form in the middle of voting. My solution at the time was using body.onload() to reset the form. What ended up happening to some voters is that they would start voting when the page was only half-loaded. Since I find out now that body.onload() does not execute until the page is completely loaded, those who had lagged connections to the server were having their Group A votes reset when they were already further down the page. I've resolved this by writing a different function in the onload(), which still solves my initial test case but also addressing this case where a user would start voting before the page has finished loading. Thanks to everyone for reporting their findings and helping to discover this issue. |

I mean, if they were in a legitimate anime and the characters received the attention from the anime, there'd be no problem... instead, they're in on the fact that there's a single episode fan-made OVA out that few have even seen yet. | Right I know. Hopefully people come to their senses and vote for the right people. Based off the correct approach to Saimoe. Mine. ;) I also imagine that who characters are grouped with affect the vote getting so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the actual results of round 2 are drastically different from projections. |
| Well, at least the touhou characters who won preliminary round 1 had significant air time in their glorious one episode. I still disagree with any of them winning over actual full series characters, but... *shrug* 1 episode moe =\= full season moe. I was horrified with what happened to Yurie of Kamichu! in ISML 2008. I hope that doesn't happen to any of the characters in 2009. |

| Looks like I may grow a distaste for touhou fanaticism next. Looks like all of my top picks are pretty much fucked. Though, at least Taiga got in, and Shiki has a chance. As for my opinion on Yurie!. She has that childish clumsy attitude that I dislike. Which may be why I didn't vote for her. |
| It's funny that we are talking about Kamichu since I just watched that anime yesterday. I thought Yurie was adorable. I would have voted for her if I had known her back then. her voice is soooo cute <3 I'm glad to see that Shiki did pretty well. I feel bad for not voting for her D: |
