I am super confuzeld.

What order do I watch the Fate series?

Is this correct:

Fate/Zero > Fate/Stay Night

//

Looking through the anime pages it now seems evident that, that is the correct order. So, in that case, as a side question, what of the Fate series (including films etc...) should I watch after F/Z Night?

Graacias amigos.

Play the VN for Stay Night, watch the Fate/Zero series afterwards.

Just this once, I'll fulfill whatever your wish is.

Play VN then read Zero LN.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

Basically, I wouldn't even bother with the Fate/stay anime. It will probably give you a bad impression of Fate/stay, but if you don't feel like reading a very long VN you can just watch or read Fate/Zero. That said, I strongly recommend giving the F/SN VN a shot first, as it makes F/Z an even better experience imo.

You're supposed to watch Stay Night first, but don't watch it....it sucked. Then you're supposed to watch Fate/Zero which I've never seen so go with what the others say^

Don't bother watching the Stay/Night anime, it's beyond rubbish. Play VN then watch Fate/Zero.

Watch Stay Night before, either you'll be disappointed by Stay Night.
Then watch Zero.

Just watch Fate/Zero and pretend Stay night does not exist.
I probably regret this post by now.

Read the visual novel first. Fate/Zero spoils major plot twists in some of the arcs, particularly Heaven's Feel and Fate. Feel free to ignore the anime adaptations.

descriptive wording during sex.

Oh, how could I forget. Nothing is more arousing in erotica than grossly bizarre euphemisms and metaphors for sex organs written in prose characteristic to that of a 14-year-old boy.

I only saw the first episode of Fate/Stay Night. It wasn't bad. I liked it. I like how the main character has a hero complex.
I like people who aspire to be heroes.

Anyways, it's Fate/Stay Night and then Fate/Zero, I believe.
Apparently Fate/Zero is WAY better then Fate/Stay Night.

The Fate/Stay Night VN is worth it for the amazing dialogue and descriptive wording during sex.

They made fate/stay night first, but it contains many spoilers and Fate/zero is the prequel. Watch the prequel first.

Fate/Stay Night takes place later chronologically but if it's to be consumed it should be done before Fate/Zero. FSN hints at some things that happened during Fate/Zero however Fate/Zero will outright spoil certain aspects of Fate/Stay Night.

I personally watched Fate/Stay Night first, then became interested in the visual novel. The anime is alright as a standalone thing. As an adaptation it's not particularly great. The visual novel is really, really fun to read with three routes chock full of good story line, bad porn intermissions aside (and let's face it that was kind of amusing anyways).

Mostly due to laziness, I didn't bother with Fate/Zero the light novel but I watched the anime and it is a fantastic series. And knowing everything from FSN I can kind of go "oh so that's how it happened!"

Yeah. Definitely watch Fate/Zero but don't watch it first if you want to watch Fate/Stay Night as well. Besides, with the FSN anime being plain mediocre at best it'll be painful to sit through after Fate/Zero.

I've only played Fate so far, but I'm wondering: is there any in UBW or HF? ;)

There are H-scenes, sure. But, nothing between Saber and Rin anymore. Also, the best H-scenes are in the Heaven's Feel route, as in they are actually plot relevant.

Also, I would like to know some of the things that F/Z spoils for F/SN. I've seen both anime but haven't completed the F/SN VN. If anyone answers this, spoilers please. Thank you

That's all what my brain could squeeze out, there might be more.

Ahah.

I guess I'll try the VN, then, Zero, then maybe SN.

Right.

Thanks for that, people.

The SN anime is an adaption of the visual novel. So if you read the VN don't even bother with the SN anime because it's not as good.

Anyways, I'd say either go:

SN anime -> Zero
SN visual novel -> Zero

The VN takes a big time investment but has a better payoff. In any case I wouldn't recommend watching Zero first because SN is what really makes it feel complete.

Except those h-scenes are profoundly creepy, considering exactly what and who they are between. Seriously, think about that for a while...

Huh, if you truly want the full experience, WATCH the F/SN anime, read the VN then watch F/Z.

Don't listen to the bullshit most people say like "OH IT'S SO BAD, OMFG", decide for yourself.

Go and watch Fate/Stay Night first, then only after that you watch Fate/Zero..
but if you want to watch Fate/Zero first, then there is no need to watch Fate/Stay Night anymore...
