His arm and leg being restored seems pretty self explanatory to me so I don't really need an explanation for that part. What I do want to know is what he found out while he was inside the titan that ate him. Though I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the flashbacks of him being injected with something by his father.

Also, Ive always loved battles with strategy involved and this episode gave me that. God bless!

I should have guessed this twist but I wasn't absolutely sure until a minute before the reveal when Eren attacked that Titan that ate his friend. This show just keeps on getting better and better.

Ohh.. wow, well I expected it but didn't know how he will come back and why. BTW Next episode explains vaguely why.

Loved the hell out of the this episode.

Eren was awesome as was Mikasa (loved her emotional reaction, it was great seeing her happy there) and Armin with the strategies. Also they did a real nice job with the other team members too.

I don't even remember the flashbacks about Eren, they must've been so short I forgot them lol

I'm glad he came back and I'm glad he now is actually the best suited to kill Titans just as he wanted to be but I wouldn't mind if he had died, few series try that angle

SNK ain't no Game of Thrones. People shouldn't compare it to such. I don't know many stories that can kill off important characters like that and still keep on going.
Deconstruction ≠ Darker & Edgier
Trope ≠ Cliché (Face it, nothing is completely original. Can't make something from nothing so to say.).

As a non manga reader, I can tell that raging titan was Eren but I didn't expect he got his limbs back. I demand acceptable explanations in the next episode. Still Eren should've stayed dead.

Don't worry, no spoilers here.

I watched the whole first season before reading the manga, and now I'm caught up on the manga.

However, I remember watching this episode and feeling like a piece of myself died because it was so predictable and shonen-like. I also remember some people complaining and dropping the show because they felt disappointed, as well.

I can honestly say that I have never been more wrong. DON'T DROP IT.

It gets way more intense and the unpredictable nature comes rushing back in and it doesn't falter. Don't lose hope. Keep on this amazing show and you will not regret it.

I can attest to this too. Some would think 'So let me guess, Eren now is the going to save the world huh? This show lost its potential now. Boo." Never been more wrong myself too.

I just hope Isayama maintains that sense of doom SNK always has. I'm getting the same feeling I first had here where the latest turn of events are concerned. I'm sensing a spanner in the works to throw everything back into total despair next chapter or so.

That would be cool if he'd stay dead. I think erren is a whiny bitch most of the time. The only leading character I have seen dying in anime is kamina. Inb4 everyone on dragonball z. Nobody dies for real in dragonball except the villians

Yup...so I was right....I really thought this show was going to be different, judging by how many had died already, but nope...gotta bring back the annoying main character....i'm not being biased at all by this, I just think it would have fit the shows personality to have Eren stay dead...but bringing him back, and somehow as a titan.....my interest has been shattered....I'll keep going until half way...we'll see....

wtf did i just see??

Eren gets eaten by Titan,he loses an arm and leg

Then he become a titan himself and then when the eren titan seems to die eren boy just appear from inside the titan with his leg and hand...Like nothing happened

I liked the whole episode and series but i didn't like this Eren titan thing

It's like bringing back Kamina as a Super robot or something like that
anyway im gonna continue watching and waiting for the explanation

I think it is worth

I always knew that Eren had something to do with that titan's actions. However, the situation with Eren and that titan is still an interesting development.

Interesting.. So the Titans are mechas you can pilot now or something? lol That's actually a cool idea, I guess.
It was obvious that Eren wasn't gonna die, but how the hell did he end up there!? That wasn't the Titan that ate him..

Agreed. I'm disappointed they're bringing him back. Not only because his character lacks depth IMO but also because now he becomes some kind of a chosen one. Well, the authors better have a GOOD explanation for all of this.
Oh, and I was giving this show +1 for killing Eren, but I guess I have to take it back.

I think the titans with no skin that resemble cenobites from Hellraiser are way less offensive to look at than the ones that appear to have human faces. They're just drawn gross.

There were far too many stills in it, it just seemed kinda lazy, not sure if they think it looks cool or they can't always afford so much because of the titans scenes possibly being quite expensive or something.

The way Eren came back was so beautiful, I didn't guess he was just controlling it though, I thought somehow he'd become it. although he regenerated his limbs too so maybe in a way he sorta did.

They had the money but not enough staff to animate the scenes there is an article on it from Crunchyroll.

When you're caught up with the manga, you just can't help but notice Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt's reactions in this episode. Especially Bertholdt, with his stupid fkng face and that stupid fkng sweatdrop he's wearing all the time, which obviously shows that he knows about that titan (that it's a shifter and shit).

God, I hate the three of them. Lol.
