I am saving up for a new laptop as I have been using an Inspiron 8600 (2004 Dell Laptop) for about a year now that my mom gave me when she got a new laptop. Sadly, she did not treat it extremely well so there are cracks all over the place on it and I have to get my uncle to fix it every once in a while, since he has fixed it repeated times in the past.

Also looking to buy anime for my first time but nothing is fucking cheap... maybe it's just that I am a cheapass but I need a way to shop on Rightstuf to buy the $1 and $5 blind box bargain or whatever it is... Amazon seems to always be expensive nowadays but sadly, that is where my gift card credit is...

Preferably a Piano, but a new keyboard might have to suffice. I wanted one as soon as I made the comparison between my keboard and a real Piano.
A car (the insurance is going to be about as expensive as the car itself). I've wanted one for about a year now, seeing my friends passing their test first time and driving made me quite jealous, but encouraged me at the same time.
I had saved £1500 but then I decided to spend it and just wait until I'm getting some steady income to buy such expensive things, bearing in mind that I could have them both within 6 months of working a full time job.
The keyboard is definitely worth saving up for, the one I use at the moment is about 10 years old and the keys aren't even touch sensitive. And once my free travel runs out this september I'm going to need some other form of transport. I refuse to spend ridiculous amounts on travel each year, when the money could be used to buy a car.

I ought' to save up for this:
http://www.aniplexusa.com/gurrenlagannbd/
But I'm not sure that 500 dollars is worth it.
I just find it hard to justify saving up for that.
It's so much.....:/
There's so much other anime I want that are cheaper.

A new tv, right now I'm rocking a 15 or 19in old school one that I think is as old as me (22yrs). It makes watching movies that come out now in widescreen format hard to watch.... Plus getting a newer one for me will help with space saving since it won't have a big butt on it.

Good luck with that one, damn. As we say in America, proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance. Where do you wanna go and what do you wanna see? (need info myself)

You're right.
First of all, my first stop is Tokyo. Browse Shinjuku, also Akihabara, obviously. Every single place in that city.
I want to see Mount Fuji so freaking bad.
I would like to visit the shrines and temples in Kamakura.
I want to go Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, etc.
That's what I want, mostly.

Ultimately, a trip to Japan. Not too sure when that'll be. My friends have convinced me to go along with them to the Dominican Republic next February if those plans get off the ground. If not, then I'll probably go to Japan sometime next year, maybe in the fall. If I do go to the Dominican, Japan might have to wait until spring of 2015. It will depend on how much money I have.

But...I love traveling so much. Just thinking of all the places I want to go to makes me want to book a trip somewhere right now, even though I just went to Ireland in March and went to Bhutan last October. Financially, I'm still recovering from those two trips.

There are also other life things that need paying for...like, dental stuff, optometrist stuff, friends' weddings to go to, on top of other usual life things (rent, bills, car stuff, cat stuff...)

*sigh*

I would love to do exactly that as well someday but that's probably way too expensive for me.
Which is why, I'm only saving up money for some doujinshi that I'm going to order from Japan.
Sounds pathetic compared to your trip next year ...^^
