And what to watch after those? Check my PTW at my anime list or recommend me one must-watch that is not there please?

I'd say Monster, though people often complains how slow paced it is, worth a try nonetheless.

And then:

Baccano!
NHK ni Youkoso!
Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
Steins;Gate
Trigun

I haven't seen monster but i've seen Angel Beats and I didn't think it was anything special.

Baccano! isn't on your ptw, you should probably add that.

Monster is better, but completely different, and WAY longer. I would watch both at the same time personally, that's what I'm doing with Nodame Cantabile and Maison Ikkoku (Maison is 97 eps, Nodame is 50). Juggling them keeps them fresh.

Angel Beats is short though, and it is really good, so I would get that out of the way. You need to be prepared for Monster's pacing, brace yourself.

Angel Beats! It has 13 episodes,a special, and a 2min epilogue. Pretty good but short anime.
Watch Monster afterwards if you're ready for a slow paced but epic psychological thriller.
Baccano! Another short and great anime you should try if you're not ready for Monster.

I watched the entire Dragon Ball series, One Piece, Naruto (classic and shippuden), almost all Fairy Tail and half bleach, sir. You need more than 70 episodes to beat me.

Don't compare battle shounens and psychological thrillers like that, but good that you're willing to watch the epic masterpiece.

Do you want to watch a crappy, melodramatic anime that tries to shove feelings down your throat and fails miserably or do you want to watch the greatest psychological thriller that has yet to be born in the medium called 'anime?'
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

pff Angel Beats!

Shorter, and more "glued to the screen" feel. And greater in its own way.

I'd also like to add Hunter x Hunter (2011) it'll probably rival One Piece as the best shounen

What he said. still, Angel Beats was decent enough, but not in comparison to Monster. It's epic.

Catch up on Detective Conan and I'll compliment you.

Don't think you can compare something like Angel beats to Monster really.

It really depends on what you want to watch, if you have enough time/dedication/patience, I'd say go for monster.

Monster and Angel Beats! are of completely different genres, and you may enjoy certain genres more than others. However, you shouldn't even need to ask which one is objectively better.

You should look through people's lists and see who has seen both anime and take that into consideration. The trend on MAL is that people will just vote for the one they've seen, so their vote shouldn't count.
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

Angel Beats is nothing special and tries way too damn hard, whereas Monster has probably the most complex, interesting plot I have ever seen in fiction. Therefore, Monster is infinitely better than Angel Beats and I'd probably laugh if anyone tries to argue against that.

But then again, Monster would set the bar way too high if you watched that first. So maybe you should save the best for last?

Monster, The thing with Angel Beats is that it is a Key anime and therefore has a somewhat unique tone (when looking at modern anime) thus has sort of become somewhat popular to those who keep there eyes solely on modern anime (the fact it was an action probably helped boost it's popularity) however the anime has very 2D characters and isn't anywhere near as in depth as monster (it does contain that unique atmosphere, that seems to stir up emotion however ... monster does that without resorting to moe blobs and cliche female archetypes, remember that Angel Beats is based off of a dating sim somewhat (dating sims are basically a place to amass a collection of female archetypes and just go for the one you want, IE 0 originality in character depth and male MC is usually hollow)

Note that I don't hate Angel Beats but when compared to Monster ... Well it falls short in absolutely every way aside from art...

Actually, if you carefully read everybody's recs it clearly shows everyone is leaning towards Monster.
Angel Beats you could easily finish in a few days or hours if you really tried. Monster is best to be saved for last because it is an epic.

Angel beats is really short compared to monster, you can easily watch both.

Anyway Monster is way better, two completely different anime though.
