Though the cruelty of the exams shocks me. Like such girl as Hinata could take part in a murder. But that Bacteria-san guy really led three Genins to death! | So the forest of death begins. Sasuske knowing that naruto was an imposter was the best part of this episode. Things only complicate the further they endure this hellish forest. I really love seeing how all the characters use such clever strategies to win these bouts and get the scrolls. |

| Very good episode and the next one looked promising aswell, with some huge snake crawling after Naruto. And the new op&ed songs are better than the first season had, so in that aspect too this season is more passionate/exciting and pleasuring to watch. |

But i wouldn't say that, now the current 1000 year blood war arc is amazing in the manga. |

| Hmm yeah. I like the new ending, not so much the opening. The scenes are good and so we've see the appearance of an important character soon. Also have fun Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Those woods are full of surprises xD. |

| Team 8 cooked their attackers. They have rather unique abilities and it's cool how these 3 work together. This is pretty high stake for a "mere exam" and Anko enjoys it(and people call Ibiki a sadist) You have all these characters, some of them with unknown motives, which adds to the excitement. This is why I love this arc. It was a blast during my first read/watch and it still is. |
