What's your job? I work in retail. Target, specifically. I'm leaving in five minutes. I was a cashier for six months but I recently completed sales floor training. I'm so much happier on the floor, I like my job a lot more now, though that's not saying much. It still sucks, but what can you do. I'm getting 35 hours a week and since I live at home I can save most of it.

I honestly wish I didn't have to work. I'd rather just concentrate on school and get my degree faster, but since I have to buy my own groceries and pay for gas and other various expenses, I'm pretty much stuck where I am. It's times like these that I miss high school and my parents threw me a bone occasionally. Now I'm sitting on a pile of money with the ability to spend it on anything I want but I'm too tired to do anything with it most of the time.

All complaints aside, it's not a bad setup. I just wish I had more time for school, friends, sleep, and myself. What about you guys?

I works as management assistant (not sure if it's the correct English term) and I hate it. It's slavery, like most jobs.

Most jobs today could be abolished, see The Zeitgeist Movement and watch this video:

Train operator/driver, i guess it is ok overall, alot of time away from home with some shifts streching across 3 days. Also it can get a bit tedious during train crossings and the occasional problems that couses long waits with nothing to do. Thank god for the modern comforts of smartphones and tablets (yes i read a fair share of manga on "work" time)

Support worker for adults with severe learning disabilities. I basically look after them like how you'd look after a small child, only they're even more challenging and will never grow up.
I like my job but I hate most the staff team.

translator working in a GM plant. Sometimes two plants. Got the week off with pay (Thanksgiving). Do I like the job? No. The pay is pretty good, all my expenses are covered, I can splurge on anything with the company card, but my work is 600 miles away from home, and I can only go back home once a month. Been working on this project for a little over a year now, and I've already hit that wall about 3 months ago. I've been running on fumes lately.

Thinking about going to Korea after this is over.

There's stress in the USPS? My dad's been driving for 30 years, never had a problem until recently now that they're trying to get rid of him.
My town's branch has to be one of the most stress-free environments I've ever seen. Slow as fuck and they don't even wear the uniforms.

My last job was keeping a Freightliner shop clean and making occasional parts runs. Hated the cleaning work, loved running parts, got the hell out at my earliest convenience. Unfortunately, that was 5 months ago and I'm down to my last $40.
Time to bother some pizza joints.
I'm dead. Don't come looking for me.

Is being a vet really bad? I love animals and want to do something in the medical field and was thinking of going that route. Hmmm.

I work in retail as a cashier and sales associate in the furniture department. It's not too good for your back on the longer days.

I'm a physiotherapist at a Central Hospital in my home town. I love my job but sometimes I hate my boss, who for some reason thinks I don't do shit to earn my money. I work mostly like a slave but love my patients and the pre-surgical groups I give advice before the surgery they are having in the near future. And working in the medical field is my passion in any way I could imagine.

And I work with shit (literally) every day and still love it. We have public health care here in Finland so it does not show as well as in the private health care section how much we work for our patients.

Libary at the Highschool. Worked for 2 months now and it's fine once you get used to the libary. I bought in alot of manga in to the libary which people seem to enjoy. My co workers are at their 40ish and they really enjoy Berserk, they have never knew anything about manga until I joined. I want to do something interesting with my life, not so much really happend when you work at a Libary. But hey, my vacations is long and the work is chill.
