Obama can't do anything. 4.You mean The Escalation of the Afghanistan war, Obama isn't ending anything. 5.LOL Ha! I love it. Afghanistan completely evaded me. Forgot all about that one. Easy to forget with the news only focused on elections. And its no where near a war... Its an occupied area and continued terrorist bombings. India was just bombed but you won't hear about that because US troops werent killed. Terrorists are everywhere. Should we invade India next? We could eat their cows. And bring down our food costs. if you invade india they will most likey invade you back, plus they have nukes so its a no go . your only allowed to invade smaller weaker countries |

Media is full of news about the election even here, behind the Atlantic. Immediately after I woke up, my mother called and said: "Obama won! Hii!" I just said "really?" and turned radio on. I listened news so intently that I was late from school. Damn it. ^^' I've today so much conversations about the election. People expect so much from Obama, so I hope he could solve those irritating problems of the United States and heal your reputation. But It makes me a bit worried that he's so talented to make speeches: good speakers can manipulate their listeners without the public even understands the situation, right? Well, I'm keeping a hope that he's a good guy, who wants to make the world better place and support his thoughts. We'll see the truth next year. Edit: Argh, what a horrible misspelling! I meant "conversations" not "conversions". Jestas. |

And before I could respond with that it was too late because the topic had been locked. But basically, as Neo-Pagan, Pre-Christian Europe lover, he stood for more of the traditions that I do that Hitler, who was more of an opportunist. You don't get to see too Conservatives in America who espouse anything other than Christianity. And here we get a person as fascist as it gets, whom while created many troubles for the world, being a Nazi of course, if he were in power, would have I think created a better Germany for Neo-Pagans. And it's always nice to see it when something as radical as a Pagan politician Basically like how I like Varg in some ways even though I don't share his views about race. And Savitri Devi. Because other than their racialist views, I agree with a lot of what they have to say. Now unfortunately, because of the Nazis and the politically correct backlash, even the band Kiss had to change their logo in Germany because their logo looked as if it had sig runes in it. Personally, I think Savitri Devi is a more wise, open minded person that the Germans who locked her up. And I must say myself, I'm quite enthralled with Nazi Mysticism. But it's just be being a Neo-Pagan, not a racist. |

If I were an American, I probably would have voted for Barack Obama because the combination of McCain and his vice candidate Sara Palin (I really dislike this person) would not have been good for this country. He is too conservative, wants to start a war in Iran and things like that; and Sarah Palin would not have been a fitting person for a possible presidency (McCain could die easily, he is quite old imo) in case McCain had died. But I am also not really convinced of Obama, he made many promises but I do not think he will be able to keep them. Not that I do not want a end of war in the Middle East, but the time span in which this is to be happen is really unlikely. Chavez said: It's choosing between bad and.. bad. I'm very happy with the outcome of this election. In this time of crisis, when america is still the leader of the world, I'm really more confident with Obama as a president. I'm very proud of how the american people were able to elect him, despite him being black. I'm french, and here I'm sure this would never has happened. I will renconsider moving to america now. I think this one country is able to change the future now, when we are stock with political chitchat and a child president. Thank you for electing him. One other thing : I really can't stand people who don't vote arguing about the results of an election. Yes you can feel that one vote doesn't make a difference, but if you're a million thinking like this, at the end, there is a pretty big difference. Voting is the way to make the future you want happening. After the last presidential election here I was really angry because some people who didn't vote were willing to demonstrate against the new president. I don't like him, really don't like him, but I voted, I lost, and I have to abid by the law of majority. That's what democracy is about. |

You don't even need to have taken statistics to understand that that is a logical fallacy, that's a kiddie step in logic. Way for supporting (not proving) my point Chavez. The name change has no real reason. That only makes it less of an accusation, you're still throwing down a stereotype there. |

Chavez said: It's stating a scientific fact. And like I said, when people don't want scientific facts to not be true, then they become accusations. Face it, it's long ago been demonstrated as much as that the holocaust is true and evolution occurs that there is genetic difference in intelligence in race which is reproducible. And in political orientation, musical taste, taste in potential partner and so forth.nihlniisadxhai said: I hope this is enough for both of you, if not, go learn some statistics, start with the term 'correlation', for fucks sake... this is elementary statistics that forall x,y ((x cor y) -> (y -> x)) is a very bad logical fallacy. The name change has no real reason. That only makes it less of an accusation, you're still throwing down a stereotype there. People don't want this to be true, but it's simply true. In fact, it would be extremely strange if the correlation didn't go one way or the other. You'd have an equilibrium-unstable complex system then, that's extremely rare. An equivalent situation is dropping a cone from a building and having it fall down after spinning and turning precisely so so that it falls on its sharp end and just remains balanced after that. There is bound to be a correlation one way or the other. The cone is bound to fall in one direction or the other. The difference is that people have no political sentiment with the cone falling a specific way or simply remaining balanced. And here they have, Lady Science is cold and blind does not take pardons for your human desires of how you want the world to be. |
