If it is a undershirt, and it's kinda cold, sure.
But not if I'm just wearing a single normal t shirt.

I have only done it in wrestling, when its more of a formality or just to keep it from getting in my face.

Casually, never, worst fashion statement you could make next to sweater vests....

Does anyone want to hang out and walk around with our shirts tucked in? I feel like that would be kinda fun.

I'm usually wearing longer shirts which cannot possibly be tucked but I'd never tuck a T-shirt, it looks lame and uncomfortable to me. But if it feels good to you, that's fine. I'd never consider anyone with a tucked T-shirt a moron or worse nor would I say something like 'omg what a faux pas'. I don't care about this stuff.

if you're wearing khakis and a polo t, that sht needs to be tucked in.

if you're gonna tuck a tshirt into your jeans, might as well pull your jeans up all the way and give yourself a massive wedgie

I don't see the big deal over tucked in, it's like clothing and style in general; looks good and works on some - doesn't look as great on others.
Just go with what works and feels right.

If we're talking about t-shirts, then you should never tuck it in. Be it jeans, cords, khakis, or some other type of pants, they will never make a shirt tucked in look good.

If we're talking about button up shirts, then you can tuck them in if you'd like, as long as you're wearing a belt. If you're wearing jeans with your tucked in shirt, make sure they're of a dark wash (light wash jeans look bad most of the time anyway).

Your polo should be fitted to your body type. If it's a boxy fit, it should not be worn. Slim or athletic fits work best (if your muscles (or extra pounds) aren't bursting out), and can be worn tucked in. Only untuck polo shirts if the shirt is not too long. It will maintain a sharp look and avoid bagginess.

Never wear cheap running shoes with your outfit. That is disgusting. Unless the shoe is really badass, then it's ok (Nike Free Runs are cool and streamlined). Buy a pair of Clark's desert boots.

This guy talks sense!
Tucking in just the front of a buttoned shirt in jeans to show off your belt looks good too ;)

I've seen some pretty big hipsters in my day, but I don't think I could help laughing if I saw someone wearing suspenders casually.

I only tuck in dress shirts.
If you're wearing jeans and a T shirt, you'd be wearing casual attire. Once you tuck in that shirt, you immediately become.. that weird guy.

It depends really. I personally don't like it, but i wear regular, relatively loose t-shirts all the time with pretty loose pants. I'm not very fashionable since i don't like showing off my body, so tucking my shirt in would look pretty stupid on me and i'd only see tucking in your shirt appropriate with dress shirts.

Were this not the case, i'd probably tuck it in if i were wearing a tight shirt and a nice belt.
Kind of like this (random pic from Google):

If you have a long figure, tucking your shirt in would look really nice assuming you don't have nerdy pants that go up to your waist.
If you're going for formal, it's really nice on guys.

Basically, if your pants can make it work, it looks really nice. You just have to decide which is better to show off and will benefit your figure more: Shirt or pants?

See the difference?

If we're talking about comfort, i prefer my shirt un-tucked. I like something covering my butt.

That's because it's a female.

I did kinda think the hips were sort of female..But I saw no breasts whatsoever, so I figured it was a guy with a female figure.

That is what I get for assuming I guess.

I imagine you'd go completely formal for weddings & funerals. This thread is about T-shirt's and casual items of clothing.

Looks awful more often than not because it can make your torso look short and your legs extremely long. It gives the illusion that your body's not balanced.

No way, fashion faux pas maximum.

Tucking is ok if you're wearing something over the t-shirt, like a flannel shirt, light jacket, vest, or hoodie.

Otherwise no.
