Colbert-sensei!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was quite an episode though it was portrayed a little differently than from what i remember from the light novels. Now that this arc is over, lets hope the next one can end this season out with a bang.

The arc was pretty decent but the ending really threw me off...i mean i never really expected that to happen now i wonder what Agnes will do now that the captain and the vice-captain both died.

And I wonder why after his death ending was still so happy and funny -.- Anime changed style, but didnt change the outro. Strange.

Anyway, what happened to all bad guys? All but one-eyed I mean. Why principal didnt defend himself before being catched? He seems to be more weak than I thought he is..

Yeah, true. The ending fits a happy funny mood, but they did remove the "Kono! B-b-b-baka INUUUUUUUUUU!!!!" for less humor. I liked "Honto no Kimochi" a lot more than this one.

I liked this episode. I looked at the angle where Colbert was one of the oldest character in the anime. His character developed since episode 3 in this series.

Yappari, 12 episode is too short for this anime. When the story focuses on certain characters, the rest must be left out. Kirche, Tabitha, Siesta, and even Louise herself get less screentime as these new characters and villains coming in.

the best thing about this episode is that for once it didn't end with louise beating the crap out of seito. it was a nice change, but unfortunately i doubt it will mean a real change in their relationship.

I was actually surprised that Colbert's death was 2nd most emotional anime death to me, with Kenshin being #1. Something about it... I dunno, I know theres a lot of "I can't atone for my sins but I died anyway" deaths, but something just got me there.

I knew Colbert would take a hit for Agnes at some point, but I didn't expect him to die. Colbert was cool and all, but I was expecting him to be a little more impressive. Still, a good enough episode.
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz

Ahhh! This episode was the saddest epi ever =(
I wish Colbert-sensei hadn't died...
He had a lot of dreams to see Saito's world...
I wonder how is it XD!

i liked this episode but agree with ChiBuki. 12 episodes is just too short for this anime. you can't really cover story, side arcs, romance development, character development and fillers in 12 episodes. either focus on 1 or 2 aspects or make the show longer ^.^

This episode had a nice atmosphere
Louise rope magic trick was very nice.
I also liked the scene at the end where Louise hugs Saito

I think they started the serious plot a little late and used the Louise punishing Saito "running gag" to often.
Thats why season 1 was better in my opinion.

Best episode so far indeed. The whole setup of Agnes who can't forgive and Colbert who can't attone somehow touched some strings inside my soul. Also, I've seen no gags in this episode, or almost no gags, and that was refreshing too.

I hope the last story arc will not disappoint me with same old tricks of Louise chasing Saito and whatnot.

I love Julio and his boldness.

Benubiro was one sick individual.

It's sad that Colbert was the one who burned down Agnes's village but since he was following orders, I don't think he can be completely blamed.

^This. The fact that he still thought all the good things he'd done weren't enough to atone for his sin and also the fact that even if he saved her, Agnes didn't forgive him (and her answer to Louise later in the episode) really got to me as well. That last scene is a whole lot different from what usually happens between Louise and Saito in the end of each episode and was refreshing and touching. I really liked this episode.

I think if you asked Colbert, he would say he should be blamed. We know that killing innocents (even if we use circumlocutions like "collateral damage" or "unintended civilian casualties, or simply avoid counting the dead)is a crime, but we do it anyway. Of course the victors never have to pay for their crimes....

Crap he actually died! Who's gonna maintain the Mitsubishi Zero now? And why does he want to go to this world, replacing magic with technology this world is almost the same as theirs? I mean there is also wars, inequality, oppression, discrimination, corruption, etc.

Wait... did Louise actually cast a "proper" magic this time with the intended effect? LOL
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,

F*ck the third season's revelations hard, it's one of the best anime deaths ever. I mean dying so that another person doesn't become a murderer? There's no better way to go. I really dislike ZnT, but I gave this anime 9 just for that one scene.

Although the previous episodes were foreshadowing this it was still epic when it finally happened.. :(

I can't believe how careless they were about the hostage situation though - some of the kids could've easily been killed in all the time they spent fooling around outside.

Agnes proves once again that she's the most badass character in this anime. "Take my village's rancour!"

I like the change of pace this episode provided. Watching Louise mercilessly beat the crap out of Saito because "you worthless dog, you looked at someone" or "you pervert, Siesta talked to you" got real old, real fast. Actually, it was never funny, it's just retarded. Seriously. It makes no sense. Oh, what's that, Siesta spontaneously decided to hug Saito through no provocation of his own? Louise freaks out and blows up Saito. "Oh, look, Saito's a male with a male sexuality." *gets whipped*. Some of the gags were funny, like the part where Siesta and Louise both tried to crawl into Saito's bed, and kissed each other unknowingly. That was funny. Watching Louise beat Saito with a whip because he looked at someone merely acknowledged that another female besides Louise exists, is not.

Season 1 was way superior in that aspect. You can't go five minutes watching season 2 without seeing Louise freak out over something completely trivial and unrelevant, and then "punishing" Saito for it.
