 80% of the episode felt like filler, just a festival to get to see characters react in silly ways. Oh and Seven's Red Card thing never gets old. Yusuke seemed like a cool player in the beginning and Asuka seems like he has potential. I wanted actual soccer to be played this episode :/ |

| too bad nana was only looking a little at Kakeru but there was not more =( only Kakeru shows his feelings >.< I wonder what he did with the drinks and also where did Horikawa got the kimono or yukata from... The soccer from the beginning of the ep was Awesome like all the plays in Area no Kishi I think that Onimaru and that Azusa will be a good yaoi pair XD First I thought Onimaru was talking about Kakeru, Because he said he wants to play with him, but he wasn't talking about Kakeru. |

| So there leading scorer and most talented striker still has to start from the bench? Quite frustrating, especially when two other average first years does get starter positions. I get that the author wants to create some suspension by bringing in Kakeru only halfway in the games so he can make some cool comebacks and save the day but it's just getting ridiculous especially since there is no excuse anymore with the previous game showing he was getting over his weakness so he needs the experience in real games to further develop (it). Especially if you want him in top condition against Kamakura. |

| Mai is so straightforward! Ahaha. Kakeru can't handle her. I really love these side romance. Good to see Seven getting a little jealous. Ahaha. LOL at the shooting. Oda got a figure! Ahahaha. This was a great breather episode. Now I wanna see how will they play against Yoin! |

| Mai teasing Kakeru was pretty fun to watch. It's good to see them back to football so quickly. Like the players over there, I'm more looking forward to the match with Kamakura though. |

| Question: When Oda was taking the shot for the boots; was that a Golgo 13 reference? This was a neat episode. I think a break was necessary. Mai seems to be taking a liking in Kakeru, wonder if Seven is actually jealous. I'm curious to see how those relationships pan out. On to the next match, hopefully Yoin has better tactics to make this match more intense and exciting. |

Especially if you want him in top condition against Kamakura. Kakeru reminds me somewhat of Javier Hernandez from Manchester United, in a way that he scores in the moments needed. Both Kakeru and Hernandez come off the bench and score goals when the team needs them. Nana-chan in the kimono looked so cute, and I was hoping during the fireworks she would grab Kakeru's arm and lean her head on his shoulder. It was a very romantic part, oh and Mai pouting was cute too. |

| Afternoon Festival !! time to have some fun ~ !! Nana ... so Beautiful ~ !!! ... yukata ~ !! .. Imai too !! I sense jealously ~ ... Kawaii deshuu ~ !! Ohh .. poor araki .. sneaking failed haha !! .. don't rebound again !! Blue D cat !! .. rare .. dislike the colorings .. anyways .. Oda was badass on the snipe !! WTF. Mai teasing .. well .. you don't do that to boys you know .. kakeru blushes haha !! Oh well .. that goes the rare shoes .. lol !! Nana and mai so cute together ~ !! Fireworks youthful signs of hope ~ !! Talent of hard-work is all you need to achieve something, Fun is all you need to enjoy anything. Pretty GREAT Episode !!! |

| If Suguru's death was the most dramatic moment in this series, that festival was certainly the most pleasant. It was a good down time episode, as my interest in Area no Kishi feels similarly replenished. Of course, the next opponents look really solid as well. |
