| Doesn't differ a lot from girls in my case, I don't like _really_ short hair on any person. | I tried letting my locks live their own life, but all the curls and the sheer volume of it eventually pushed me to the border of insanity. Then along came the military, and although I could have kept it, I couldn't bear the thought of marching in blizzards and icy bogs with that mane on me, and thus, I was freed from the oppression of the long hair! |
| After analysing this thread more carefully than I originally did, I have concluded the following: That I usually don't have a girlfriend is after all not because I turn down the many clear infatuations I receive but because I have long hair and if I wash it more than once per three months that's a lot. Myth busted. |

| If it's long/short/blue/absent... I think as long as it is clean and doen't smell like a pony tale there's no problem at all. Wold is evolved enough to allow girls to wear trousers and men to have piercings and etc... that long or short hair doesn't really matter. No one should chage one's style according to someone's else taste because afterwards one might regret it. Plus girls are crazy, each day they prefer someting different. =) |

| Nahh, seriously, cutting your hair because your girlfriend commandeth so is a bit stupid if it's really long, especially if you're not dating for longer than two weeks . Also, people that tatoo the name of their significant other on themselves, ahaha. Also, what a lot of people fail to realize is that positive words need not mean compliment. For instance, if a girl of whom you know has completely orthogonal taste in guys' aesthetics to you says you're attractive you probably don't look how you want to look yourself. It's just a reflexion of man's desire to be 'appreciated' regardless of what it means, I pretty much draw self-assurance if completely stupid ladies who go for the typical macho, muscular, self-assured man say they think I'm completely unattractive. As I don't really am attracted myself to the typical macho, muscular, self-assured man. I like childish, cute guys who aren't afraid to say from another guy that he's 'hot' or do not wish to rule out the possibility of one day really liking a guy, that, with the needed cynical misanthropic wit. I don't like those typical overtly masculine guys I more or less like guys that can say from another guy 'Awww, so cute.' and girls who like such guys, which admitted are rare quite uniformly attest to that I am really 'cute'. even though the vast majority of women, and men, think I'm a pretty strange and unattractive guy for coming to the graduation in a hooded sweater, doesn't scare me, re-assures me. |

O my favorite way to judge a person is by if they have a name of someone on their neck or someplace really obvious...you just know they are the brightest bulb in the box. Bottom line tho, do whatever you want to do. Dont listen to what everyone is telling you, its up to you in the end. If you like your hair keep it, if you think you should cut it by all means cut it. Its just hair it will grow back in time. My 2 cents is cut it, if you dont like it grow it back, if you like it then there ya go. Never hurts to try something new (well most of the time) |
