| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Edit: O.o I exspected something.....more. Best part was the Ichigo color spread. Hollows are getting bad in Kakakura Town so they send in some more shinigami. 2 characters we havnt seen before. But they seem pretty boring to me. Ichigo protecting karakura as always and some 'suspicious man' lurks in the shadows. *sigh Yes i was totally especting more for the long awaited chp. Hope the next one is better. |

| Looks like Ichigo is back to his old self, some kind of problem arising in the soul society with a group causing the disappearance of hollows and we have two new characters coming in! Not a lot but I guess we got to wait for the next chapter to see what's going on now! |

Despite the obscene amount of color pages ( which in and of itself just proves that big flashy colors still can't make Bleach any more interesting ) and actual depth in the scenery ( for once, sad that it takes 3 weeks for Kubo to be able to pull that off ) this was lackluster in a sense. Before anyone jumps in to say "but it's only the first chapter in the new arc!" I understand that...but unfortunately it did little to pique my interest. |

| I thought Kubo was going for a darker tone at the start seeing two newbies get brutally killed right off the bat but nope Ichigo had to save the day and look cool..oh well at least it felt long wonder how this *Final* arc do. |

| Ahaha, now that is how you truly tick a few people off by shoving a filler arc into a manga series... my god. Still, good to see it returning back to what made Bleach so enjoyable in the beginning, hollws vs. shinigami and here's to hoping it stays like that. |

| It already had me at 'final arc'. I'll suppose that this is the so-called arc that Kubo actually bothered planning ahead (putting aside Full bringers). Well I'm going to assume that the 3 week hiatus was meant for Kubo to get the whole picture of this arc , and not to work on this chapter alone (Hey, one can hope...right?). |

Going by the spoilers of what Kubo plans to focus on in this arc, it seems this arc has been in set up ever since the start of the manga. We know that Quincy teachings come from an "older" order of Magic Hunters, which a lot of people guess are Royal Guards. If quincies are offshots of Royal Guards, that would perfectly explain Ryuuken and Ishida's grandpa's words about Ryuuken wanting to protect him from something and about Ishida needing to make a decision once he finds out. Not surprising, considering "Final form" of quincies looks like an Angel. Also, chapter's title "Thousand Year Blood War" - Grand Fisher referred to Ichigo being of "true blood" before. |

The final arc, in order to be comprehensive, will be at least 200 chapters so about 4 years, unless something really bad happens. Prepare for a loooong arc. Hopefully, it won't be boring like the last 2 ones. |

This was a nice brutal start. Though seeing Soul Society go nuts over the disappearance of Hollows, while we see a large group of strong ones in Ichigo's town does confuse me a little. If this really is the final arc, then I expect it to be a very long one. So I'm willing to be patient and wait a while for all the explanations. |
