| The opening was meh, Ending was beautiful. This episode was freaking brilliant. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Seems like this could be the best show this season. 5/5 |

| Wow...just wow.I had high expectations for this title, but what i saw was even better than i imagined. Atmosphere was absolutely brilliant.I was waiting for something like this for a long time. This class is so creepy.Cant wait to see next episode so much. I think opening and ending should be more scary. First impression? 9/10. |

| It was a great first episode. It really has potential, I'll be looking forward to it this season. The side characters seem to hold some interesting back-stories. And there seems to be a lot of sick people there, I guess that those are the ones that will walk the plank first? Now the question is, what should I watch first, this or Natsume? |
| I've been looking forward to this anime, & the first episode did not disappoint! Gorgeous, crisp animation with a rich palette; very easy on the eyes. The story already has me hooked! |

| The people there look dead, and the class 3 is considered "death". The guy "Sakakibara Kouichi" symbolize death, so he was assigned in class 3? That's weird. (usually 4 is symbolized death instead) This is creepy. |

| 4/5, It's a beginning, those aren't always the best, I'm quite confused why everybody is acting like this, do they wanna make Kouichi forget about Mei or something? or kill him? and what was she doing in the dark dark creepy room. So I'm assuming that Mei is that popular girl who apparently vaguely vanished and they're trying to let Kouichi forget about her. And hopefully they won't put much of those dolls in it, creepy shit.. |

| What an awful OP, it was so out of place, apart from that the atmosphere, the setting, the backgrounds were all really great, this is off to a good start. btw Was it just me or they changed the character design between the teacher and the aunt,based on the manga? |

| OMG! My eyes! The art is gorgeous! Loved it and i must say i LOVE characters with black hair and red eyes. Totally eerie. I hope the characters won't be too cliched. Once again great atmosphere when Sakikabara and Misaki are on the rooftop of the school I give it 4.6/5 I'm really impressed by the 1st episode. Everyone are suspicious and scary. The male teacher the most. |

| So here's my thoughts after watching the first episode. I haven't read the manga (is this a manga adptation???) so please don't confirm if I'm wrong or right xD I believe that the whole Class 3 is already dead. And so is the main character. I believe he died at the beginning when his lung collapsed and the whole thing is a big troll XD But I'm probably wrong...oh well. I like how they gave each classmate some kind of personality and different look! And strangely the thing that bothers me the most, they don't show the grandparents faces!! Either there's something really wrong with them or like I said, the main character is deceased and they're still pretending that he's alive, like they did with Misaki! |

In the hospitals, yes (never using "4"). About the Anime. It seems interesting and i wonder if it can bring be the same type of thrill Ghost Hunt did since it's been awhile since i had that feeling. From what we saw this episode there a few interesting things. First of all the strange class and the general atmosphere there, people where nice to the main character but they also seemed to have a form of distrust not just to the main character but also to some of the other students. Then there was the greeting in the hospital which is just strange he hasn't even been to class and there already greeting him in hospital. The handshake was also a bit odd from what i understand it's unusual in Japanese culture and the reaction of the other students in that room was just strange. The homeroom teacher didn't seem to care much and gave a depressed impression like he didn't want to be there at all. Also the fact that they where trying to change the subject when the main character ask't where the girl was that greeted him in the hospital suggests that they are hiding something. Not to mention that the class doesn't seem to interact with any of the other classes in the school they look completely isolated. And the greatest question of all is that girl Misaki who seems to be one big mystery. She gave the impression that being send to that class is like a death sentence. The condition of the school wasn't really good either the seats on the courtyard and the courtyard seemed poorly maintained and the metal on the roof was rusting allot. It seems like they haven't been maintaining the building at all which seemed strange since that school should have a large number of students just judging from the students in that one class. |
| Holy crap that was amazing! The visuals are stunning, the lighting effects add in to its horror factor while the stills make it creepier, and the soundtracks, my god, they just amplify the mood a hundred times more. Now it's up to the story to make it or break it. If there's something that I didn't like though then it would be the OP by Ali Project. I mean anything done by Ali Project sounds the same it's getting old. Aside from that, with proper pacing and storytelling, we have a sure winner here. I've waited so long for this and it's well worth the wait. |

| I like the character design, main guy's design reminds me of the guy from Higurashi. The settings is good too. Mainly because it's a small town and in the year 1998 with not too much influence from modern technology. The classmates and teachers look hollow and miserable at some points, but when spoken to they are lively enough. They're clearly hiding something, and I'm looking forward to find out more. |
| I'm currently reading the novel and the manga right now. The anime so far is different in opening than both (when he meets Mei), but I'm really loving the character designs, music, and pretty much everything. <3 |

| Episode one is not scary, as I expected. I don't think the whole class is dead, but I really wonder why so many people are sick or hurt. I think at least one student would get hurt everyday that's why the ponytail girl was absent. Well... I think. And the animation and the background art is soo beautiful! As expected from P.A. works |

| Ahh, it's been so long since I've had a good horror anime. I hope this one is good all the way through. The only thing I don't like is the Ali Project song, because I see they still haven't managed to compose anything different. |
| I really can't form any opinion about this yet. It gave me too much "Higurashi" and "Shiki" vibes... Hope the next one would be better and less similar to those series. |

I know 4 is a bad superstitious number in Asian countries. It's known as the "death" number. So, they don't like to mark the fourth floor in buildings and skip to 5 instead. It's similar in US and parts of Europe as well; their buildings don't have a 13th floor. ------------ I like how this show is starting. Even though nothing happened yet, the vibe is already ripe with a dark creepy undertone. They did a good job making everything feel "not quite right" as Kouichi is trying to figure things out. The animation is amazing. The BGM is also very good. The voices are good as well. The only thing that was out of place was the OP and ED; the OP seemed wonky and silly; the ED was a bit cheery looking and sappy. Other than that everything seems top notch. definitely a show worth watching. |
| Wow I loved it! The OP was alright but it wasn't bad. The animation is really amazing and the story seems interesting. Can't wait for more episodes. |
