I would have to watch it! I think if I knew what happened then I would want to watch it more than if I didnt know what happened. Knowing a part in an anime that you didnt want spoiled is only a small part of the anime. I would want to know the events that led up to the spoiler too!

I hadn't that much series spoiled, but I'd say yes. Even if I know that something happens, I can still watch to find out where, how, when etc.
I know that it happens for sure, but hey. I'm also watching series based on a manga I read before, so I guess I can live with one "I knew it!"/"NO! ;_;"/<whatever> moment less.
Which doesn't mean I like stuff being spoiled. Especially when I'm the dumbass who did it (Recently, I wanted some more information about a VN. Ended up spoiling one of the endings orz)

I can. Sometimes it even makes me more excited to get to the end of the series. But other times I'm kind of disappointed that the end was spoiled. I'll still watch it regardless though. (:

I could I suppose but then it would be ironic to have to watch a spoiled ending since you know what's going on. Especialy if you have to start sobbing over the depressing parts.

Bah! Still disappoints me though...-_-

I can. Even though it makes me furious, it makes me want to watch said anime even more to get to that point where what was spoiled is happening.

Of course.

Although it will be disappointing. You won't be excited as much.
Then again, if the series is good then watch all the way.

Without a doubt, if the series was good then there's no stopping till it's over.

Of course without saying, it's a joykill when people spoil the major plot, climax, or ending.

Meh. I've gotten used to it. If it's because I saw something on the Internet, then I'm just sad because of my own stupidity. If a friend spoils it, I punch them. Hard.

I'll still watch the show, though. I'll just put time off so it still seems interesting.

Baccano!'s first episode spoiled the heck out of the end of the series (though whether or not you were too confused to realize it is another matter), and I got through it just fine. Judging by its score and the number of people who finished it, I'd say it didn't matter that much in the end. Same goes for other series like Ga-Rei-Zero with the same kind of circular structure. And there'd be no point in prequels either if people really cared that badly about spoilers.

Honestly, I could care less about spoilers for any part of the story provided that what's spoiled doesn't seem to completely go against the tone or themes of the earlier part of the story (Bunny Drop manga ending, I'm looking at you), and even then I usually still want to see it for myself and judge it. I like seeing how things play out to get to a point more than when I actually reach it anyway.

I am fairly sure that when a story tells or shows you what will happen at the end that is called foreshadowing. With the out of order story telling technique it would be pretty hard for a new viewer to consider the story spoiled in the first episode. You can't be spoiled in hindsight.

Never read YouTube comments, they're always chain letters, spam, 12 year olds, annoying trolls that aren't funny, or trolls/people who spoil things.

I can usually still sit through something if its good enough if it was spoiled. Though I'll drop it faste/easierr if it was spoiled to me, such as TTGL.

Depends on how big of a spoiler it is. However, if spoiled, I usually forget about the end because I get so absorbed into the leading events.

Yeah, I can. I've gotten spoiled for Code Geass (the ending), Madoka 3rd ep, and Mirai Nikki (ending). Didn't stop me from watching them. The thing is, if it's only the end spoiler, I feel like there's so much more in the middle that you can still enjoy. If you got spoiled for the entire anime (which probably doesn't happen often unless you deliberately do it), then I don't feel like there is a point to watching it.

Well the ending for School Days was spoiled for me a long time ago (thanks to the forums) and now I'm watching it and still getting some entertainment (not enjoyment) out of it, but seeing as how I know how things are going to develop, there isn't as much shock factor involved as there would be if it had been unspoiled. So generally speaking I can still watch a series, but what was spoiled is what I mostly end up thinking about while watching.

Actually to be honest, sometimes I deliberately go for the spoiler. If i know the ending is favourable, I'll be even more determined to complete the series asap to capture the moments in the last ep.

Depends. If it was an anime I really wanted to watch, then definitely. For me, this included Clannad After Story (one of my most frequently spoiled anime because of douchebag anime friends) and Angel Beats! (same reason as Clannad). Of course I still watched them but I stopped watching Clannad AS at epsiode 17 and Angel Beats! at episode 10.

You should've at least watched episode 18 of Clannad AS.

It kind of depends...the fans have ruined school days for pretty much anyone but it's pretty realistic so I'll finish it. That's the only anime I can think of that's been spoiled to me so far. Pretty glad that I'm lucky.

Depends.

- NO: I don't watch when I think it's somewhat useless since I've been told
- YES: I love the Anime / want to watch it (badly?) ?

As long as a serie is to my liking I always finish them even if someone has spoiled the ending (or something crucial like the plot twist) but I mostly wait for a month to continue the series and watch a lot of other series so i can forget what got spoiled.

It does annoy me, but I can usually still watch it. I have an uncanny habit of finding spoilers though. I think I'm just so used to reading them for everything.

It depends though. Code Geass I knew about, but it didn't make a difference. It did kind of affect End of Evangelion.

I usually move it to my on hold section and it stays there for a very long period of time. One good example is katanagatari.

But seriously, for me, it's not the destination that counts, it's the journey.
So yes, more than likely, I will watch a spoiled series if it is interesting enough to me.

It depends on the series, it depends on the spoiler and it depends on the mood xD But most of the time, I just kinda get an off feeling when something major is spoiled and I leave the anime aside for a few months till I want to pick it up again (doesn't rly happen often).

I literally got spoiled for every single thing in TTGL. But I am watching it anyways. It's a little sad that I know what events are to come but I believe witnessing them first hand is a completely different feeling.

Actually, the fact that I got spoiled is making me notice the small dialogue and foreshadowing that first timers wouldn't notice. So in a way I may appreciate some aspects even more.

nope. once a ending is spoiled I can't watch it. I was watching death note and some guy on chatango asked me what anime i was watching. I told him I was watching death note right. He said it was a stupid series because in the end
. I could have killed him for that. I tried watching it after that, even though it was spoiled...but I couldn't. The excitement was taken away. =w= thats why...I never tell people on chatango what anime I am watching. So they can't spoil it.

I really struggle to. Half the fun of an anime is guessing where it will end up. Knowing that in advance defeats the purpose.

I dropped Kobato for that reason...not because anyone spoiled it for me, but because when I clicked the link for episode 2, it turned out that it was a link for the last episode so in retrospect I saw the ending after episode 1. Didn't see the point in slogging through 26 episodes when I knew how it was going to end anyway. =/

It's hard to enjoy it at it's fullest. Spoilers change my view on characters and the plot :/ I really dislike them but if the anime is good, I'd still watch it :P

But then again it might save me from a potentially disappointing end :D

Some people don't use spoiler tags, so if I've had an anime on my plan to watch list for a long time, chances are that by the time I get to watching it, a lot of bits and pieces will be spoiled by careless forum posters. Ex: Clannad. Geez I'm pissed that I know what's going to happen.

Nope, I can still watch an anime just fine if something got spoiled for me, in it. And frankly, most, if not all the spoilers in anime are rather obvious ones; it's not like a whole lot of anime has any deep, intricate mystery story-lines.

Rarely.

Spoilers are a BIG pet peeve of mine, because a big part of my enjoyment watching a show for the first time is finding out what happens as it happens, not because tumblr or friends whatever can't keep their mouths shut. If I know what's going to happen, especially if it's something major, I'm not thinking about or appreciating the show and the characters as deeply as I would normally. Instead, I'm focusing on the spoiler.

Although spoilers (even more untagged spoilers) are BIG pet peeves (for me, I always predict what happens), turns out an anime is still enjoyable even if the ending was largely spoiled for me. Take Death Note. Everyone yelled its ending on a couple of anime forums I visited back in 2007, but what did it get in the end while still knowing the ending? An 8.

Hah, it's one of the reasons I will not watch Death Note. Aside from the first episode being a total turn off for me.

Internet forums really ruin the fun on some things with thread titles like: "why did person X had to die?"
