| Good episode. We get some backstory on why Hanataro is helping Ichigo. I liked when Ichigo heard what rukia said and he got really motivated. Reniji looked BadAss when the mist cleared and he was standing there with his shades on. Post #37 |

| i'm still confused about world building. Shinigamis are like- spirits.... but they need sewers, water? okay it's possible that all ghosts can live just as humans in the Soul Society world.. who knows what comes after death after all... but living another human-like life after death is boring Renji feels bad for Rukia but seems to obey the Soul Society leaders and their decisions ...so does him fighting Ichigo means that he won't tolerate the intruders saving Rukia? |

So maybe theres an exemption if you have high spiritual like Ichigo |

| Pretty nice that Hanataro actually made friends with Rukia while he was cleaning out her cell before she got transferred and that she would often tell stories about her time on earth and about Ichigo. That’s really sweet and this is for a guy in the Soul Society who so far gets treated like crap because he’s just a cleaner and healer and seen as the lowest form of Soul Reaper because they can’t wield a sword. It’s so ridiculous that’s happening to him and at the very least he has somebody who cares for him. And now Renji has found Ichigo and my god I would be lying if I said I didn’t find the battle that’s started with him is so cool. I mean there’s mist where Ichigo, Ganju and Hanataro are there’s obvious going to be an obstacle for them to get past and lo and behold as soon as the mist clears, it’s the very same Soul Reaper that bested Ichigo not too long ago on earth. I’m really looking forward to the rest of that rematch, I really am. |
