| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow what a start... Interesting take on the poor slice of life genre, its almost like a narrative documentary on the life of Binchou-tan. Well thats the feel im getting from this episode and the preview commercial. BTW what the hell is Binchou, since she can fit in shoes and bottles and rice cookers? Has to be some nature god or something right? |

It was too much like Big Brother for my taste, although it was amusing to hear the same narrator again in Potemayo where the comments she made were rather more humorous, almost as if she was parodying her narration in this anime. |

| Wow that was surprisingly very good! Just the thing I was looking for to start the day. This short but well made episode just filled up with emotions in a great and peaceful atmosphere and setting! I know already that I'm going to love it, so lets see what this anime has to offer us! Dat turtle :3 Although I don't see why you would combine the two first episodes to discuss, it's a 12 part anime so why bundle them together? |

Binchou-tan where have you been all my life? I feel so ashamed calling myself as a SoL fan when I didn't even know you existed until today >__< My sugar levels spiked off the charts from all the cuteness but at the same time I can't help but feel sad. She's living such a simple life but is content and happy. When she had her first dinner and saw all she had was rice, soup and uhmm herbs...I was like "I want to adopt you!" And the blanket with a hole...T___T Why does the toy shop have underwear in Binchou-tan's size?! I think I'm going to watch 2 episodes a day, not going to marathon. A diabetes-inducing and ironically healing SoL should be watched once a day especially on bad days :p |

| Holy shit, why am I discovering this show just now? This was the cutest thing I've watched in a while. Just pure, uncynical slice of life goodness. And I really like the art and animation in this show. It's pretty detailed and fluid for a TV anime and kind of reminds me of the old Disney shorts. |
