| I absolutely loathed every scene with the emperor, it was like I was watching a different anime, one I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole :/ I'm not sure how I'd feel about being married to someone who was fine with marrying a rodent... so does this make Photon the Emperor? he's married to the Empress after all. I'm sure Aun will enjoy being a princess ;) |

| It waseasy to watch, the action was entertaining, some revelations and events were well introduced in earlier OAVs while a good number came out of nowhere. But there was something missing for almost the entirety of this episode: I am all for tonal dissonance but I largely prefered the Papacha parts of this 2parts finale. The emperor scenes had not the slightest comedic appeal except maybe for his motivation (doing it for fun). 3/5 Like I wrote before, Tenchi Muyô did the switch from comedy to serious sci-fi more smoothly. Here it was too jarring. Very good idiotic comedy until it tries to cram a dramatic finale in the last third. The designs are nice and the drawings (backgrounds included) and animation make for a pleasant visual experience. Score: 6/10 |

And that was the end. What a great finale. A lot of zetsubou (I'm fine with what the Emperor was doing, but it was what he was doing to Keyne and making her do that hurt me the most), I got to see Lashara's nipples (thanks to Pochi), Keyne's fine body, and a harem ending (I couldn't care for Aun). Photon is the GOAT. What a masterpiece. Reminds me why I love the 90's the most. Glad I watched this for the 20th anniversary. I'll miss my waifu's, Keyne and Lashara. |

| When I think about hidden gems, this is the stuff that comes to my mind. Well, couldnt have expected less from the creator of Tenchi Muyo and the director of Saber Marionete R. What a good team! |

| Watched this as it's supposedly a part of the Tenchi Muyo universe. stayed as it was more enjoyable than expected. Now onto another that's supposedly in the same universe that starts with "Spaceship." |
